Animated Swindle

Got him, and I love him! Probably my second favorite character (besides Lockdown and/or Starscream) and his toy does him extreme justice.

I have a gallery in Supah Cleah, but I wanted to share a different method for transforming his back parts.

The instructions show his back transformed like this, but to me it kinda blows the illusion that his shoulder guns are popping out of his shoulders:

I have found this to be a better method. You can't just rotate the part down, though. You have to rotate them 270 degrees towards the inside to move them downward like this. This greatly improved my opinion of the toy, and I hope it helps anyone else who didn't like the official method.

I highly recommend it to any fan of the show.

I thought he was a nice design but the overall quality was a real let down. Transformers don't feel as solid as the used to. I was really looking forward to this guy too :(

I dunno, maybe you got a dud, because mine is as solid as a rock. All joints are tight, even the chest piece is fine.

Mine is fine as well. The chest piece doesn't snap into position like I would have preferred, but even so it holds itself there pretty well. Everything else is tight and solid, except the backpack hinge (that makes the piece fold over Swindle's head) is somewhat loose, but I have a fix for that.

I rotate the "wing" portions up and fold them in on the hinge joint, then turn the guns so they point to each other. From the front it looks a little like a luggage rack. Then all I have to do to deploy them is turn the guns to face forward (or unfold it at the hinge joint). I'm experimenting with another method and I'll post pics of both when I get done.
