I could see myself buying this if I see it in store, but its pretty bogus that the alternate head isn't packed in. Articulation looks subpar as well.

Sculpt is great though.

trebleshot 11-16-2010 07:57 AM

WANT!

Agreed, he should have come with swappable heads. But other than that, I'm good. He's going to be a display piece for me anyway.

TheSymbiote 11-16-2010 08:46 AM

if we buy this it'll be the maskless one since we're gonna buy the ML version.maybe theres a way to put the maskless head on the ML version too.

nexxone05 11-16-2010 12:30 PM

Where can I buy these???

They are so cool.

I want!!!!! :D

GogDog 11-16-2010 12:31 PM

With the Mar-vell, I could understand because it was a whole other figure, of him in a Kree uniform. But this recent trend of a variant consisting of a different head is silly. Select Thanos had a swappable glove that was bigger than these alt heads. ;)

Your local comic shop is your best bet. They can order them through Diamond.

January, I think.

MegaPrime33 11-17-2010 06:57 AM

It does look pretty cool, but I'm holding out for Juggs.

stanmarsh917 11-18-2010 04:57 AM

I wish he had back holsters(is that what they call it?)for his swords, his sais and his M4 looking gun

I'd say holster work for the gun(s), but sheath is a better fit for the swords and sais. But I guess the whole thing could be called his backpack or web gear.

Whatever you want to call it, I agree it would be nice if he could carry all his weapons, rather than having them just laying on the floor next to him.

scarecrow 11-18-2010 11:47 AM

I'm not all that impressed with either this one of the new 2-Pack release, now that I've had time to consider it. They both just make me wish I could've snagged the original release.

nexxone05 11-18-2010 12:08 PM

Im still looking for the original, what would be a fair price to pay for it?

behindthemask 11-18-2010 07:27 PM

3-45 loose and bout 50-100 in package.... some online stores stock him and I've seen him between 70-90.. I like the ML 2pack as u get 2 figures for almost the price of the marvel select figure... and it'll have better articulation....in my opinion Marvel Select typically has better sculpt and paint aps, but Marvel legends have better figures and better articulation.
I'd buy either if i seen in store but will not rush to go buy them online.

Thanks for the info! And yes, Diamond Select should give this d-pool holsters and sheaths for all his sais, guns and swords, and also they should give him lots of articulation, especially not the articulation of the Marvel Select Iron Man 2 figs.:D

MeLikeJinx 11-19-2010 12:14 AM

I kind of don't get why people would even buy the unmasked only version when his face looks like that. LOL.

Amalberga81 11-19-2010 03:49 AM

great figure !!! if hasbro still have bad distribution for ML 2 packs, any fans will love this rather than marvel legend series....

Oh, okay. BTW... unmasked MS DP... is he supposed to be smiling? LOL. He looks just like how my 3 year old nephew smiles in his class picture photo with the "show the dentist all your teeth" smile. LOL.

behindthemask 11-19-2010 07:18 PM

if your gonna buy them,... buy them both... BBTS sells both versions together cheaper then buying individually for Deadpool, magneto, juggy etc
