3.75 inch Movie Optimus Prime Custom

Hello, thanks for dropping by!

For a long time I have been wanting to make an Optimus Prime figure in the 3.75 scale (scout class). A few of my reasons are to have an optimus in scale with my legends figs, and it's cool to have a small non-transforming poseable figure in a "revoltech" kind of style. So, i looked for figures which i think may have potential, and i found Hyper Velocity Armor Iron man. A few Styrenes, Epoxies, SuperGlues, paints and a lot of Mess later, he's done! And i'm very pleased with the result!

Here's the recipe:
Base body - Hyper velocity armor Ironman 3.75
used styrene/sculpted in the parts
wheels, gas tanks, smokestacks etc. - RPM optimus prime
Gun - movie war machine 3.75 gatling gun/missile launcher

Oh and the flames were painstakingly hand painted using a twistie tie wire as a brush! :D

Hope you guys like it! Thanks!

Very original and great execution of the idea.

You've got me wondering (I'm not much of a transformers guy), if there are any 4 inch scale classic Optimus Prime or Megatron figures out there.

Thanks. I'm just a casual collector of Tf's myself, but yeah i think there are a few Primes and Megs out there that are close to 4 inch scale. revoltechs, and actionmasters come to mind, and i guess
the hybrid convoys.
