OMG that's awesome. I like both the toys AND the cartoon images. I am totally looking forward to this now.

CrownCoke 01-25-2011 12:47 PM

Wish someone could tell us what the scale is on those figures? ME WANT!

Bro,
Thanks for the link and images!

Thunder

according to the original post there will be a 3 3/4 line AND a 6 or 7 inch line of both modern AND classic figures. apparently they will have some pretty ridiculous articulation...here's hoping.

it may sound weird but i'll miss lion-o's old three finger shield :(

Joe Moore 01-25-2011 01:03 PM

Looks interesting enough. Will wait on better pics of toys though. Cautiously optimistic right now.

Croaker 01-25-2011 01:21 PM

From reading the text in the pics -

the main line is small - approx 3 3/4
there will be larger deluxe versions of the main figs - 15 cm, approx 6 inches.

There will be a classics series, based on the original show at 20 cm, 8 inches.

drew2kew 01-25-2011 01:25 PM

definitely getting these. Awesome! Thunder Tank is my favorite vehicle of all time

xSEANxLONGx 01-25-2011 01:26 PM

OMG! I'm Buying all of those! THUNDERCATS ARE LOOSE BABY!

grayman 01-25-2011 01:28 PM

It is about effing time that the Thundercats returned! They look great. Thanks for the pics. I can't wait to see more.

Primacron 01-25-2011 01:32 PM

Yay!!!!!!

New style looks kinda cool, but classic Thundercats plus a tank is awesome.

Hopefully we'll see some proper pictures at the US Toy Fair.

now see....THAT'S what i'm talkin' bout

Snowflakian 01-25-2011 02:12 PM

Loving the thundertank. Will have to see the toys up close more before I make a call on them. May at least get Lion-O in 3.75'' scale.

Galaxy Ranger 01-25-2011 02:46 PM

At the very least looks like the heads will do well for more detailed body customs! Very happy about the 3 3/4 scale and the Thundertank is a must!!

nakobass 01-25-2011 03:00 PM

Thank God, They have pants now!

nomad1632 01-25-2011 03:02 PM

from what I can see looks amazing the tank and new figures are sweet I hope their 3.75 figures and the tanks for them!!! So cool!!!!

flywheels 01-25-2011 03:05 PM

Timing is horrible for me, but I'm loving what i can see in these tiny pictures!

Crazy Jetty 01-25-2011 05:32 PM

I never cared for Thundercats. Like... at all. (Kinda liked Silverhawks, though)
I didn't like it as a child, and getting to see a little bit as an adult on cartoon network, found it to be AWEFUL.

This however looks interesting. And I really like Cheetara's redesign. WAY better.

Tarquinius 01-25-2011 07:11 PM

Yup these will be mine. Will they be made available in traditional stores?

Now we just need MOTU 3.75 :)

metalalchemist 01-25-2011 07:18 PM

I think I´m gonna be camping TRU or any toy store from now on, wating for them... waiting...:D

trebleshot 01-25-2011 07:42 PM

I WANT IT ALL!

...ahem....I think I'm getting excited. ;)

denali33x 01-25-2011 07:47 PM

lion-o looks kinda young there. late teens it looks like, i'd rather he be a young adult, early 20's like, but it's not a deal breaker. plus that cartoon image looks pretty cool.

Ezilla82 01-25-2011 07:52 PM

Sweet!

Ravenxl7 01-25-2011 10:22 PM

As someone who grew up watching the original, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to this new show and it's toy-line. Not a big fan of the now robotic glove Lion-O has, but other than that, everything looks great. Especially the sword (which I might get). If they classics line turns out good, and isn't too expensive, I'll definitely get the main cast.

Given that the UK doesn't have any exclusive ways for collectors to get things (like HTS or Mattycollector), I think it can be assumed that these will be available at bricks and mortar.

Not neccessarily in the UK though........
