Terminator Salvations Toys Hit US Retail
|
Tennessee! Where? Which city? I know a few people who are wanting these.
|
what store, so the rest of us can check in our areas
|
First sightings were at Kmart and at TRU. Man that A-10 looks SMALL! Hopefully it looks better in person, mold wise it is fine, but for joescale...I mean I don't expect anything in "joe scale" to be to scale at all...but this is small from the pics!
|
I found all of them today at K-Mart.. Almost got a T-Rip and the black version(can't remember the name) but got X-Force Wolverine instead
EDIT: Albany OR for any Oregon users. Any on here besides me? |
got some
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b5...h_DSC01835.jpg currently uploading the pics. stay tune. |

topnotch97, Awesome stuff, man, very cool! You should start a thread for your comics...or do u already have one somewhere?
|
I found the Termination Salvation 6" and 3.75" figures at a ToysRUs in College Station, Texas today. I got 1 of each Terminator model from the 6" and 3.75" scale. There were no vehicles.

Found figures and vehicles here in North Alabama already which is a bit of a shock, we're usually way behind on getting the new stuff. We've just gotten wave 1 of MU and the occasional wave 2 sighting.
|
man. the vehicles are pricey. although its $23 at TRU. i might have to wait a little bit.
btw, Target and Wal-mart are gonna sell them also, right? |

I was going to make a joke about how much the Barnes figure looked like Common, instead of the actor who plays him.
Until I found out that it IS Common. GREAT likeness! |
Terminator Toys at Super Target
They're out at my local Super Target in Raleigh. I didn't look that closely at the larger scales or the role-play stuff but the 3 3/4-inch line looks pretty solid. I picked up the Hunter Killer with T-700 vehicle ($19.99) and a single-carded T-R.I.P. ($6.99). The humans all looked pretty good too but I'm holding off on those until after I've seen the movie.
One thing I noticed about the T-R.I.P.s (this is the silver endoskeleton) is that the paint application varied quite a bit from one to another. One that I looked at was almost just entirely silver. The next one had a lot more dark "wash" in the joints and recesses. I think this is probably a good thing as you can buy multiples and they won't look exactly the same. I also saw lots of variation in the paint app around the eyes but overall the quality looks pretty good. And I'm with you Shin, the vehicle looks great but it does look surprisingly small for this scale. And another thing I noticed about the vehicle is that the photos on the back of the box clearly show a silver vehicle and a silver Terminator, but the actual toys are totally black. Are we expecting multiple versions? |
nah... i don't think so. the pictures in the back were early prototypes.
if you look at the back of your single card... the figures look way different from the one pictured. plus it says protoype down at the bottom. :D |

I bought a T-1 at the store I work at.
I'm using him as Megatron's drone!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...IMG_0288_2.jpg |
just picked up the T-1 and the Hunter Killer. I may get a few more 3.75 figures. Those will fit in nicely in my joe verse, plus they just look cool!
By the way, the Hunter Killer will look AMAZING with a silver wash! |
