The Thing is one of those characters that looks great in your collection when the sculpting is detailed. Well Hasbro's Marvel Universe Team gave us a top notch version with great detail and attention to paint and sculpting in not only the skin but the face.

Highly recommend picking this one up.

That's a mighty fine figure... Aunt Petunia would be proud. :P

trebleshot 04-10-2009 12:32 PM

Nice job, Hasbro!

*Adds to must-buy list*

Can I get a picture of Hulk smashing the Thing? :D

Shin Densetsu 04-10-2009 01:37 PM

Are the hips as hindered as they are on Hulk(where they don't really move forward or back, or at all, just rotate around a peg)?

scarecrow 04-10-2009 03:53 PM

This is probably obvious, but are they planning on releasing Reed and Sue sometime soon?

eriku 04-10-2009 04:50 PM

He looks great, but with those useless hip joints it makes me wonder why they bother to give him any articulation below the waist at all. What good are knees when the hips barely move?

Optimus Scourge 04-10-2009 09:00 PM

Nice detail, might nab it, myself.

When is this wave suppose to hit store?

It's out now, sighted last week.

Officially first week in May, though some stores are starting to stock them now.

Flint 04-27-2009 09:01 PM

Thing is one of the few I want

dinga 04-27-2009 09:56 PM

I have one and think the left knee joint is wrong. Just doesn't sit right. Almost not inserted deep enough in the socket or the left thigh is the wrong sculpt.

This happened to my black panther too. I hope it's not a reoccurring QC problem.
