Unknown XMO Wolverine Vehicle

An previously unseen vehicle for the X Men Origins Wolverine line has surfaced. Click here to check it out!

Snowflakian 05-09-2009 08:22 PM

Darn it hasbro, the wolverine outfit I want finally, but with a vehicle I don't. T_T

It's a repaint (with new parts) of a Sand Razor from the GI Joe vs. Cobra line. I'd much rather see some regular military vehicles with some claw marks.

Still, this is the first 3 3/4" Marvel vehicle (if you don't count the Humvee from the Hulk movie). I think it's overdue, even if it looks ridiculous.

Chances are I think we will see a new mold, Marvel Universe version, with accurate mold lines for the costume design.

Good catch man, I didn't notice that! I'm thinking about using the Movie Night Raven as a Blackbird for the X Men.

ludovicotek 05-10-2009 12:16 PM

Yuck.

But good call by Shin Densetsu about the Night Raven being used as a Blackbird.

CTO15 05-10-2009 02:22 PM

thats just terrible

Clonekiller 05-10-2009 02:23 PM

Yup. This is the type of vehicle I expected from Hasbro.

Good thing we went to a 3 3/4 format for this piece of crap!

Can't wait to see how they screw up the Marvel Universe vehicles.

troynos 05-10-2009 05:41 PM

Wow that's awful.

Snowflakian 05-10-2009 06:15 PM

On the upside, this does reflect more towards Wolverine and the X-Men designs moreso than actual Astonishing/modern wolvie at least. Maybe we'll see some better vehicles later. But in a weird way it is paralleling toybiz's first Marvel heroes vehicles.

Hulkbuster Humvees would have been better IMHO, but oh well. At least they are starting to do some vehicles, even if not comic or toon acurate besides wolvie's chopper.
They one upped toybiz on that one at least. (TB's first wolvie bike was pretty horrid. So there's really no reason to whine over one company doing better with vehicles, it's a pretty universal fault to marvel toys. Even mattel in their secret wars line had some uglies.)

If this was packaged with sabertooth, and had a bio stating that he stole modded and repainted a military vehicle to mock wolverine, I'd give them extra credit for self mockery. That would even make me buy this outright, instead of just sticking to building the modern X-Force team only. Heck, that could have been a saving grace of this too, if they used that outfit's color scheme.
