Is there going to be a 3 3/4 Red Skull?
 

I know there was recently a Red Skull featured at SDCC, but is there supposed to be one released with the upcoming movie, or will they avoid doing that because of the Nazi implications?

I'm sure there will be one. It just might be a few months down the line, like Whiplash was after the IM 2 figures came out.

There should be one coming out, but I'm not sure that they will be putting the Nazi implications, it might cause a controversy, or maybe not.

That makes sense, I guess they want to target kids first by releasing the hero in abundance, then later on they would put out the stuff that fans would want to pick up. I've only ever seen two Whiplash figures, one at a Target and another at a Kohls. I bought the Target one, and I convinced my buddy to get the Kohls one because it was discounted to $3.29 and he loves Iron Man even more than me.

I concur with fellow members. From all the pics I've seen of the upcoming Captain America merch, I have yet to see pics of a 3 3/4 Red skull, as like most marvel movies the lines are dominated by the main character, ex: Spiderman,Iron Man,Thor,Wolverine, and now Captain America. There will be about 10-20 different Cap figures from him on a bike, on a 4 wheeler, with a hummer, jet pack, and then 5-6 different shields, mixed in amongst the peg warmers lies the gems we'll all be looking for: crossbones, bucky version cap, captain britain, us agent, winter soldier, BBTS lists a lot of TBA figures, but I've seen other pics online that show it to be characters from the movie I believe. Marvel Select already has pics and preorders out for the Redskull and cap figures, I've also seen redskull masks online so I think there will be a 90% chance of us getting 1, it will either become 1 of the tba figures or it will be in the next wave. it will probably just have hydra for an arm band rather then a swastika.

Hasbro released actual nazis in the Indy line so I see no problem with Hydra costumed guys. Plus they will be getting smashed by Cap so it all balances out.

Red Skull is slated in later wave. So yes he's coming. He's one of the TBA figures on BBTS. They case assortments were trying to be coy until the trailer reveal.

More accurately, he's slated in the first wave(s). There's two "TBD" slots in the first wave of movie figures. Most folks are betting that one of those is the Red Skull, and the other is probably a HYDRA Trooper of some kind.

Hasbro did the same thing with the Frost Giant figure in the first Thor wave, even though prototypes and leaked copies of that figure had already been seen months in advance. Security appears to be a bit tighter on the Cap line, though.
