90's X Men VS Wolverine And The X Men

I saw all of the 90's X Men cartoon. LOVED IT. I have 2 volumes on DVD. Been meaning to finish it. Probably will in the future. My cousin tells me Wolverine And The X-Men KILLS ASS.

Question is, which is better? You tell me! No really, tell me! I haven't seen Wolverine And The X-Men yet.

Nightrain 04-07-2011 10:22 PM

Wolverine was meh. The characters and stories were far richer in the old one. Hell I'd put Evolution above Wolverine.

Autobot_Goldbug 04-07-2011 10:46 PM

Na, I think they are about even.
Definitely watch the Wolverine & X-Men series. I thought it was just as entertaining as the 90's one.

Oh and there will be another X-Men animated series coming to G4. Now this one may surpass both of the others!

Here is a Wolverine anime preview....

I don't know why solo Wolverine is thinner than team Wolverine.

Tough choice, as I liked them both a lot. But I had to go with the 90's X-Men.

But I would still recommend seeing WATXM. Totally worth your time.

He looks younger. Not sure what to think.

The 90's show was BOSS!

MegaPrime33 04-08-2011 10:18 AM

Got to go with 90s. The story lines, the voice actors, the animation, it was virtually flawless in my book, sans of course the last few episodes where they changed the animation.

90s. I've started Wolverine and The X-Men but it's not sucking me in like the 90s show did. As for the new Anime... It's very odd seeing these characters act Japanese, and speak in a different language. I can't wait to see it dubbed in English.

I voted Wolverine and the X Men because it would have easily surpassed had it gotten a 2nd season and continued with the Apocalpyse story, I used love the early 90's one but it kind of looks dated now and i have rewatched it season 1 to 5 very recently

Snowflakian 04-29-2011 04:50 AM

I prefer the Wolverine and the X-Men one, but 90s X-men in the later seasons started getting too wildly comic adherent yet not for my taste. It was like they couldn't make up their mind if this was the comics universe or if it was an animated one, but then and it just started getting annoying in that regard.

As for the X-Men anime.
I was ready for that to be all kinds of kickass...
Then it came out, and after a few episodes it just doesn't feel right. The costumes are fantastic, the animation is perfect, but much of it just feels wrong in many elements that are hard to swallow(like cyke's battle bike). I'm still going to watch the G4 dubs though.
