Yeah. Masterworks? Needs Master Mold. If you are like me, you spent your days back in the 90's watching X-Men on Saturday mornings, wishing Toy Biz would crank out these %^&*ers like no tomorrow in their toyline. Some of them, they did, but not all.

Hell I forgot what this guy even looked like exactly I just know he was a HUGE ASS SENTINEL WITH PURPLE AND YELLOW.

HUGE ASS SENTINEL FIGURE? Instant win. I want that without even knowing what it looks like. Sentinels win. Masterworks Sentinel wins. I think the Sentinel could destroy Galactus.

What exactly is the background on Master Mold? As a kid I blindly accepted that he was the main Sentinel that created other Sentinels in his image, but who the hell created him? Details?

Sinister created him I believe... but it's been a while since I seen the show.

I thought it was Trask.

I haven't googled it yet, so if I'm right, my brain can only dispense useless info at a moments notice.

I don't think it is Sinister. Trask fits better. There was a Master Mold toy in the '90s. It was part of the water battle series I believe.

I thought we were getting a Masterworks Sentinel this year?

THe upcominc Sentinel is the smae as the Master Mold in it's original form.

Years ago I got to meet and hang out with John Romita Jr and I asked him straight out "WHY is Nimrod Pink!?!"
He laughed and said that he designed Nimrod to be greay, but the colorist went with pink...he had no idea why.
He did not even see the printed issue for months after.

Poor Nimrod got the Hello Ktttty treatment.

I just want regular colored Sentinels to be at retail.

Should be out around Fall.

Of course blue/purps should be readily available at TRU when they hit. Hasbro couldn't possibly drop the ball the bad, right? Right? :o

Is it only me or does the BAF Sentinel look to be a much nicer figure than the upcoming Masterworks Sentinel?

I have a baf sentinel and it's amazing, I wish it had lights but that's my ownly draw back.

Bastion from the latest x force/messiah wars series gets my vote. Master mold world be awesome too

I dont agree- the BAF version looks like it's made from spare McFarlane parts- it looks too old and junky- partly due to that dingy paint app.

The upcoming Sentinel is much closer to the comic look.
