New XMO Wolverine Single packs!

New X-Men Origins: Wolverine Colossus & Logan Single Carded Figures - - MarvelousNews.com

Marvelous news is showing two recently discovered single packs for the XMO wolverine line.

A new wifebeater shirt wolverine.
Annnnnd everyones favorite ruskie in full articulation glory!
That's right, a single carded Colossus.

Personally I'll be buying both the new single carded, and the two pack to fix the mistakes of the other. Like his head on and arms I'll swap to have a better poseable colossus.

I was about to post a thread on this and you beat me to it by one minute.

This Colossus is way better than the 2-Pack version. It still looks different from the one planned for MU, right? ETA on these?

Ballsdeep212 06-25-2009 05:02 PM

I like em both ! Any word on a release date ? I cant seem to find a release date on anything these days ! Hell I havent found anything else on the wolvie colus double pack either , anyone got anything else on that one ?

scarecrow 06-25-2009 06:13 PM

Ooh... Colossus' face looks BAD.

I'm all over that Arthur Fonzarelli figure though!!!

I believe the MU one would be his current costume.

Many a colossus

There are the two we have recently seen, two pack launcher and squat XMO versions.

There are two pictures here: 1. a group shot of MU figures with a very promising supposedly upcoming colossus figure in his modern uniform.
2. A comparison shot of an XMO wolverine with a Marvel showdown Colossus that I got off google. This is the Colossus I presently own. He can wear a helmut and carry a large gun if your using him in your joeverse. Strong sturdy and reliable he comes in a two pack with a KILLER Magneto.

IMHO: This single pack Colossus is an obsolete sculpt and articulation to the showdown version.

At least the launcher and MU versions have different uniforms.

Yeah, looks like the MU one is better. And this might explain the reason he's pushed back out of sight now. Don't want to flood him all at once.

Yeah, Hasbro wouldn't want to flood the toy aisles with several versions of the same character...

I really want that MU version more than any of the others they have shown recently. The single pack XMO is pretty dope, but the that modern costume looks sweet. The SHS figures are fine for me until they release a MU version. SHS had some serious issues with joints being loose and sometimes ugly sculpting, IMO.

Anyone know how big this single pack Colossus is going to be? Reason being, Sabretooth two pack looks really big, almost as tall as the Hulk. I'm hoping Colossus is big also, cause it would be wierd having him like Cyclops' size or something.

Wolverine, spiderman, and Ironman being the exception.

Between WATX Colossus though, MU and XMO having 2. That's 4 colossus sculpts all at once for what's more or less a side character not even in the movie, and only in the toon for 5 minutes.

Not to change the subject, but where is that Thor figure from? Is that a new MU figure coming out, or did I miss it already?

ludovicotek 07-11-2009 05:48 AM

That Thor will probably be released in 2010. I'm sure they'll announce him at SDCC.

trebleshot 07-11-2009 06:31 PM

I might get that Colossus.

Prem1x 07-13-2009 06:41 AM

The Thor and Colossus in that grainy shot look very promising. Not sure I like either of the XMO:W Colossi yet.

Alexbel 07-13-2009 02:30 PM

I dont see a Thor anywhere

Now that I look more, the Thor and Colossus in that pic look like the same upper torso...?

scarecrow 07-14-2009 11:10 AM

Perhaps it is. It certainly wouldn't be too far off of Thor's current look..
