Sentinel Preorder on BBTS, 1 Month Away?
 

BBTS just put up the preorder, at a smaller price than galactus, and they are saying in July, so looks like we may be getting him 1 month from now. I preordered 2

I don't know if I can spend $12 for shipping. I have seen plenty Galactus' at TRU.

Yeah, I see no reason to buy this online unless you have no way of getting to a TRU.

..and I'd hit Amazon for this before BBTS.

how about the fact that the two TRU's that are located near me havent had any marvel universe product on their shelves outside of a ironman/surfer/dd 3pack in a year? I'm kind of stuck, and i have the money to burn

Is this a different paint app, like the dark Galactus?

I never have seen a Galactus at TRU. Only at comic shops for 99.99 CAD. Never seen the Wal-Mart exclusive Gigantic battle sets either. With that said, I will never see this Sentinel either. At least I have seen GSXM 6PK though, all variant :P

That stinks, man. Just remember than these (Galactus) were flooding Amazon last year to the point where they were down to about $25 shipped. And they can still be bought online at BBTS, TRU, etc,.. for the original price.

Not sure if this is for me but, I plan on getting all 3 versions. I have all 3 versions of Galactus. The Sentinel is a no-brainer. Its gonna be AWESOME. Where I live I've only seen 2 other places with a Galactus: a comic shop and a small toy shop.

They suck in my area as well.
Employees cherry pick the cases before they get shelved- an ongoing problem at all TRS stores going back as long as I can remember.

Last Dec Galactus sold for $29.99 at Amazon (free shipping). The Sentinel may be more popular and may not see similar discounts, but I'd wait.

So, are there even pics of a properly colored Sentinel? Everyone says it's gonna be a variant like Ultimate Alliance Galactus. That's likely though stupid on Hasbro's part. It's gonna be hard (and discouraging) for us to troop-build these if we can only find 'the good one' online.Must be nice.

I'm probably gonna break down and buy a Galactapuss tomorrow at TRU if nothing else good comes in on the truck.

I don't even have a TRU in my entire province haha. I have to travel off island if I want to go to 1, the Canadian version of the site sucks as fas as selection and availablity,... I have a zellers which is going to be becoming a Target soon, and a walmart, other then that a few independant comic places but they typically order DC stuff and if it's Marvel it's Marvel Select or nothing... I beg them to order cases of MU so I can cherry pick em, but they all say no go. I called my walmart and was told they don't have any Cap figures and can't see getting any. .... fml! Thankfully, I got a cheer up coming soon in the form tony stark headsculpt IM2 figure, finally!

I don't have the MU version (yet), but I had the ML version (twice). The newer MU Galactus looks like it blows the ML version away. The MU is much bigger and thicker. The Legends one had "puny" limbs compared to what Galactus should have. And the worst part, due to his over-articulation, coupled with his tight, articulation-hendering skirt, the Marvel Legend version couldn't even stand!

I've read a lot of "mixed" reviews comparing the two, but don't fall for what a "Hasbro-hater" says.

It's better than the ML version in every possible way- it's way bigger (19" tall!) thicker and has not only great articulation for a huge figure but lights up and has recorded voice effects which are kinda hilarious- the first few days, I'd scare the hell out of my cats by making him say "I AM GALACTUS!"

Wow are you sure you don't live here in Ontario? You have the same problems as me. 1 Walmart and 3 Zellers (1 is turning into a Target :D). The comic shops and independent toyshop suck for MU. For me its Ebay, and/or BBTS or nothin
