I soooooo can't wait for Warpath and Vision. Even House of M spidey looks tantalizing, cept for the fact one spidey is more than enough lol.

Ballsdeep212 08-13-2009 07:42 PM

They all look pretty damn sweet , Esp. Jean . Wolvie , and Spidey , Personally thats the best looking spidey Ive seen in quite some time

decepticon_mark 08-13-2009 07:58 PM

Yeah, I can't wait for this wave. The Spiderman may very well be turned into Scarlet Spider though. I'm not sure about the Wolvie, something about his face rubs me wrong. But Vision, Warpath, Sunfire, and especially Jean are awesome.

Prem1x 08-13-2009 08:03 PM

Wow, they all look fantastic. Thanks for the link. That made my night.

Kluster Bombs 08-13-2009 08:06 PM

They all look good but Jean is the winner for me in this wave. :)

Snowflakian 08-13-2009 09:40 PM

Jean does have some new sculpt parts to throw into the mix. So hopefully we'll see some more female characters soon.

Agreed.

DrewBlank 08-14-2009 12:59 AM

It looks like they tried to match Wolverine's facial expression to the Uncanny X-Men 275 cover, but it came out a little off.

I might have to have to buy two, and white out the pupils on one to see how it looks
.

Hawkeye 08-14-2009 06:59 AM

Vision is the standout for me.

I just hate how Spider-Man and Wolvie get so many variations which could have been spots for other not so well known characters.

yeah..gives us a sweet looking rogue and oh of course storm..it obvious i love xmen!

hope hasbro will be able to give us prof x,cable and maybe jubilee who's been missing since toybiz run on marvel legends.

nitewing73 08-14-2009 09:12 AM

That's a really good looking wave. I'll get all of them except House of M Spidey. I am really finding it hard to resist these guys.

Word. But if you want stuff like Visions and Warpaths, you're going to plenty of SM, Wolvies, IM and to some extend Caps and Hulks too.

More pictures are up of them in and out of package. Also shows the stands, and that they will have file cards too.
Seems that each stand says Marvel on it, then has their name and number painted on it in white

House of M Spiderman is 001
Wolverine (X-Men Outfit) is 002
Warpath is 003
Jean Grey is 004
Sunfire is 005

They also come with the Hammer Insignia instead of the Shield one. So if you were creating a Hammer base and need a logo like some of us have done with the shield ones, there you go. =D

I could do without Wolverine, but practically every version of Spiderman has looked awesome, and Prem1x is 100% correct.

Shin Densetsu 08-17-2009 06:31 PM

Jean Gray looks out of place...like it was supposed to be an XMO Wolverine figure. Wolverine looks a bit off...lack of a neck, and the "shorts" on the thighs...hope that is changed.

It's the angling the heads down that they do in package that causes that.
Sunfire surprise me cause he's got no lower waist articulation though. The others use various parts from other MU figures though even Jean only has a few new sculpted parts.

Indeed she does. Wolverine's face is very cheesy looking.

I have to say I love the Warpath though, he looks really good, and I'm not even that big of a fan of the character. Same goes for Sunfire.

Dantalion 08-18-2009 08:55 AM

This wave is great. I will definitly pick up Jean Grey and Warpath. This line is really heating up.

megatronkicksas 08-18-2009 08:56 AM

Wow, these are great

Alexbel 08-18-2009 11:27 AM

Wolverines face looks like he is a cartoon

Snowflakian 08-18-2009 12:41 PM

We may yet see these this year. I just went shopping for cat food and other needs and saw MU Wave 5 out already.

Going back in a few to pick up Guardian and Namor if they still have them. I didn't think they'd be out already so I didn't bring that much with me.

But that means hopefully we'll see these before october. =D

Prem1x 08-18-2009 01:14 PM

I don't like that they restarted the numbers with 001 now that there are stands.

If retroactively create stands for the 2009 series, Iron Man and Spidey HoM will be 001. That's pretty lame. Next year there'll be another 001. >:(

trebleshot 08-18-2009 01:53 PM

Wave 5 is just starting to trickle out to retail now, and wave 4 hasn't even reached saturation point yet.

I think we'll see sighting of wave 6 in late December/early January.

I'm guessing it's because they went from the Fury Files series to the Hammer series. I wish they could have added the year onto the stand as well, so that way stands for the 2009 figures could still be made without looking awkward.

Masterprime87 08-18-2009 02:11 PM

I'm just glad they are getting stands they really need them.

Wave 4 around here is sitting warming shelves but we still have seen no Wave 5 or even the SW packs. The one I have picked up I just happened to find when shopping out of town.
