What's The Oldest

What's the oldest collectible that you have MOC are not, and how has it stood up to the ravages of time and all?

The first round of GoBots from 1983 and they've held up surprisingly well.

Do Boy 08-19-2011 10:15 AM

Oldest thing I have is the old X-Men Toybiz line Sinister and Magneto still MOC

I still have a bunch of my original GI Joes, Thundercats, Super Powers, etc. I've kept them in plastic storage bins and pull them out from time to time. Oldest MOC I have is a few figures from Kenner's Aliens line, including Ripley. I loved those figures!

For me, it would have to be the DC Comics Super Heroes toyline Two-Face with Coin Flipping Action and Riddler with... little pieces of blank paper!? Oh right, to write our own riddles on. Thanks, Toy Biz! I think I also got a Ghostbusters Series 4 Winston Zeddemore figure, too, around that time.

Actually, can anyone actually verify if those were just blank sheets or they actually had some "hidden" message in them like with invisible ink or whatever? I still have the figures but the blister packs and accessories are long gone, that is Two-Face never came with any accessories (his coin was molded on) and Riddler's "paper" probably ended up in the garbage.

Some old Air Raiders figures the bad guys.

Tyrants of Wind - The Enforcers Action Figure Gallery

They were $3.49 back then at as place called the childrens place then clearanced to $1.90.

I bought them on a whim, and thinking about getting rid of them I'm not really a mib collector and would want someone that would display them.

I still have about 38 original MOTU figs, but they were heavily played with by me as a kid, and they were kind of cheap toys to begin with in the early years (talking about those rubber band legs), but that was my shit so I kept them. I probably have about 40 original Star Wars figs, but they were played with too. I have the original big plastic Voltron (lions) from the line with the action figures that fit into their lions, and that is in tip-top condition. I have a few G1 Insecticons that are still in their boxes, but the boxes are a little banged up from being in storage.
