Marvel Universe Wasp WIP Hey everyone. I got to working on a custom modern costume Wasp (Janet) and I thought I'd share what I have done so far. It's a pretty simple custom to do, an Agent Helix head on a female body type, I used Mystique for it since there was one at my local Target. I still have to clean up the yellow paint apps some, shorten her neck, and add the wings, but it's shaping up well. Enjoy! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../374996275.jpg |

Hey... that Helix head works so well for Wasp. Nice. I might have to steal this idea! lol And that Megaman you have back there is so dope. |
Which megaman figure is that? I've been looking for one that is somewhat in scale with the mu line. My goal is to bring marvel vs capcom |
That's the Kotobukiya model kit version. It's not really inscale with the Marvel Universe line as it's an inch or so taller than the 3.75 scale. |

Thanks pyro. Nice work so far on the wasp wip. Interested to see the finished results. |
What are you going to use for wings? My Wasp has been stalled on account of no good wings |
I'm going to use the smaller wings on the Marvel Legends Wasp figure, modded to fit the figure. They're just about the right scale for her full wings. |
Nice! Looking forward to the finished product. |

Can't wait to see the final product! |

Looks great so far but if I could offer a slight critique... I'd shorten the neck some- it looks too long with that head. You could mabye drill the inside of the head more or really sand the heck out of the MU ball peg. I ahd to do that when swapping the head on the modern Captain Britan- the Joe head I selected sat too tall on that neck. |
That's definitely a long neck there and I've been sanding it down some for a more natural look. I plan to add some ball joints to the wings instead of using a screw to attach them so this is taking a bit longer for the completed figure than I planned, but it's coming along nicely. |
Neck aside, that's a hell of a job on the yellow! Very sharp detail. |
 Awesome work. |
Awesome work, that headsculpt looks great on the Mystique body, love the pop of the yellow paint. |
