DCU Mad Love 2pack
 

This just popped up at my TRU (after being told they were moving locations and were not getting anything else new in!). A scalper that I've seen before turned up seconds after I picked this up, I could tell he wanted it -- he missed it by three minutes. Mwa-ha-ha-ha!!

PS It kinda looks like a psycho wedding cake topper. :D

You are so lucky! My girlfriend and I have been wanting this set BAD (but sadly the nearest TRU is 2 1/2 hours away...) she wants that Harley and I want that Joker, I hope we'll get lucky and find this someday though. :D

I didn't even know they had been released yet. I think walmarts should have this, right? I was a little shocked to see the $31 price tag. And now I see the scalpers are asking $50 to $70 on ebay! They suck.

Are you kidding me? That jerk scalper said they were available for less at walmart when I balked at the price! Doesn't matter I wasn't putting it back on the shelf for anything, anyway.

Why? DCUC figures are $15-$17 a piece, as their normal price. $30 for a twopack is right on the nose for what they would be as individuals.

I picked up a Black Adam vs. "Shazam!" Mightiest Mortals 2-pack at the Chicago TRU yesterday. They had two, but no "Mad Love."

The 2-pack Captain Marvel is just a tad darker red than the original figure. I don't have the first Black Adam, so I'm not sure if there are any differences.

I recently bought the Mad Love set from the TRU by my girlfriend's college (I was out there visiting), but since I couldn't justify paying $31 for it when I should be worrying about school, I went ahead and returned it. I will say though that it was really cool, and the figures are very well made (and I love these characters, so that is saying alot).

I think the only difference is the wave 9 one had a necklace.

You could sell plasma, or not eat for like three or four days, to cover the cost. It might be worth it. :P

Well, 2packs are cheaper at Walmart -- if they're on clearance like they are around here ($23 for the Superman/Parasite set). He probably was just seeing if you knew enough to know that Walmart didn't have the Mad Love set.

Side note: I don't recall seeing an "exclusively at Toys R Us" sticker on this set. . .you'd think they would have put one.

And Walmart was charging $32.97 for the Superman/Parasite and Gentleman Ghost/Hawkgirl 2packs.

I saw this at TrU today also......didn't know they were getting them. Is it TrU exclusive? Was hoping to find it cheaper somewhere else but if not then I'll have to break down and buy it then i reckon!
