Building your armies?
 

Anyone have large #'s of Cobra troops or Stormtroopers, etc.?

And if so, how many do you have?

I have close to 8 Iron Grenadier soldiers. That's about all the army building I've done so far. Though in hindsight, I almost wish I waited for the hydra ones, or RoC figures.

24 cobra troops with red symbols 16 with black symbols 27 vipers 8 chrome face vipers 9 snow serpents 14 bats 11 cobra flints 4 eels 8 cobra divers 12 air troopers 4 fang pilots 4 claw pilots 4 trouble bubbles 6 firebats 8 black hiss 3 crimson hiss 2 classic night ravens 6 strato vipers 4 rattlers 4 x30s and one z25...so far

Impressive! Do you ever unleash that force on some other army you have? Unless you have a bunch of them, I'm not sure GI Joe could repell that onslaught.


Do you guys open them or keep them mint on the card?


Snow - with 8 it sounds like a good little commando unit.

I have five Snow Serpents and five Cobra Troopers with the silver insignia. I'll probably start building my Snow Serpent forces again once the new TRU exclusive starts coming out.

I also have a small 3 B.A.T. Squad.. I can't find anything worth going over 2 or 3 on, but I'll be damned if I don't love Snow Serpents. These are all out of package.

scarecrow - you should have them battle Snow stormtroopers

I have about 10 Cobra Troopers with red symbols and 3 with black symbols. I also have 3 BATS. 8 Crimson Guards. I also have about 6 Clone Troopers, but from the Attack of the Clones line.

I always debate on buying Snowtroopers.. I only pick very specific things up from Star Wars but they are the most tempting troopers for me. I probably wouldn't have them battle, I would probably have them team up and gank the Joes!

You just gave me a great idea for a crossover: Cobra/Empire vs. Joes/Rebellion! Just imagine if Snake Eyes was a Jedi, too. Cobra Commander could be a Grand Moff and Storm Shadow would be Vader's Sith apprentice.

LOL, growing up, my brother & I fought wars & the Empire teamed up with Cobra against the Rebels & GI Joes - some vicious battles! The Empire won the 1st battle but the Joes won the 2nd & some were accused of war crimes when they used a flame thrower to cook Stormtroopers like lobsters.
