I feel like I need to know what happens in Superman #1 right now.

Sounds like bs! On the other hand.. today's action was pretty solid. Action > Superman any way. :P

That remains to be seen; just not for another 3 weeks though!

The new Superman battle suit is already growing on me, and I can't wait for the DCUC version of it.

Are there any pics of this battle suit. Since when does Superman need a battle suit?

Since Flashpoint, but we don't know why yet.

DC promises to tell the story of why, we'll just have to wait and see.

I downloaded the JLA #1 last night on the iPhone and Superman is on the last page. Regardless weather he needs it or not it looks awesome. Take a look at the DC Direct figures that were shown at SDCC. I like it a lot better then spandex and undies. Just my honest opinion.

Did you see Lee's concept drawing in the back?

I prefer the more traditionaly styled boot design he used in the concept.

I also wish the belt was still yellow, but yeah, he looks bad ass.

Yes I did. Both awesome. Maybe the concept was too extreme for some fans?
I like them way better then the classic look. I wouldn't be caught anywhere with undies over my pants now a days.

Sounds kind of fishy to be honest, but oh well, lucky if it did.

I don't like how all of the new suits together have a uniform feel, with the high collars and what not, but individually they're neat.

Undies over pants is a classic Super Hero look that may never go away. Not that I'm complaining, I like it too.

Superman was a slow start, but it has gotten really good. Def going to be keeping up with Superman!

Wanted to start a thread for the books I've been reading. Superman is one of them.

What do you guys think so far?

IMO - the first story arc has been a bit confusing. There were times I had no idea WTF was going on. The inner art is fine, and I can deal with the reboot issues like the Daily Planet/Lois update. But the whole triple threat alien time travel multiple book references spun me around.

Not a fan of most of the covers either. Hoping the next one streamlines it a bit.
