You got talent! He looks like Johnny Depp come to think of it I think Mr. Depp would be perfect for the part. If anyone could pull off the Riddler it would be him.

I actually did base my work from a few photos of Mr. Depp. I'm quite the fan of his :) I totally agree with you that he would be great! He's been offered the role, but hasn't accepted/rejected it yet from what I understand. I mainly wanted to put him in the role and see what he'd look like (even though there have been a few digisbashes of him). :)

Johnny Depp would be a great Riddler. However, the rumors of him being cast as the character, or even being offered the role, are just that; rumors. No serious headway has been made thus far on the new Batman film. A script has not even been finalized yet, so who knows what villain(s) could show up.

But I think that the addition of Mr. Depp to the series could only be a positive.

That's one reason I didn't add too much to my first post. I wanted a few people to catch it first. My wife saw it on my computer while I was coloring it and instantly said, "That looks like Johnny Depp!" At that point, I knew I had did my job capturing his likeness :)

From what I've read thus far, someone asked him whether or not he had agreed to take on the role (assuming those rumors were true), and he responded with something like, "uh, hmm that would be cool, but I've not even been offered the part. I'd like to do it." Something along those lines. Nothing "official" but his statement was such that he'd be open to playing the part if offered :)

I have to say that I remain very excited, whatever the case. Batman Begins was great, and The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies ever :) If anything, I hope that this piece of artwork reflects such excitement :)

But seriously, nice work dude! I'd love to see Depp's take on him. I wonder if he'd do it like Gorshin/Carrey or with a more sinister edge?

I still want Crispin Glover as The Riddler! And I love that drawing you made, Superquad. A great piece of art!

I think Depp would do a good blend of a lot of things while also putting his spin on the character. I'd think it would be much like what Ledger did with the Joker. Whatever the case, I'm excited to see what comes of it :)
