MS Black Widow and Cap up on disneystore
 

Marvel Select Captain America and Black Widow Disney Store exclusives are up for sale now. Just ordered them both on their website:

That Black Widow looks terrible IMO and whats with the purple suit? The Cap looks pretty good, not a fan of these Marvel Select figures anymore due to their lack of articulation and being basically cheap statues.

Not going to lie, I am not terribly impressed...

Why is she wearing a metallic purple suit?

I was actually impressed with the MS Gambit in person... though I don't collect 6" scale stuff anymore. The line is kinda hit and miss, you have Gambit on one end and then those awful green and red Hulks.

When in Chicago I saw these in person, and I agree, they could be a lot better. However, the Hawkeye figure standing on Ultron looked awesome. I wanted to buy it, but couldn't justify picking up another figure out of scale with what I currently have. No new collections damnit.....

Red Hulk is amazing, what are you talking about Willis?

I owned the Gambit figure for a short time, and it was quite awesome. It's funny that you point out the Red Hulk, because I watched some dude snatch it up like he just found the holy grail.

ehh, I dunno... those upper thigh/hip joints are eyesores for me. Makes it look like he's wearing a diaper, especially in such a large scale.

I saw these at my local disney store the other day. I was not amused at all :| I stand by my statement that the Hawkeye is the only one worth getting. I was jazzed about the Black Widow with Ant-Man until seeing it. I also saw a MS Red Hulk there and was oh so tempted but had to pass cuz my current priority is DCUC wave 19

Damn, so it's not just a promo pic issue, she actually had a purple suit on in the package?

Not only Purple but purple and SHINY! I was like ugh! First ML series 8 Widow now this?! Why is it soooo hard to get Black Widow right.

Marvel Select comes out with variants right?

So there might be a chance for a Black suit no?

That series 3 2-pack Widow looks pretty dang good to me and made up for all the sins of the series 8 widow.

Most recent MS's have had variants but sadly the Disney store exclusives will not :(


Yeah that Black Widow def made me forgive the sins of their past.

I knew it was a long shot.. one can dream....

but the @$$h*** who dreamt the idea of a SHINY METALLIC PURPLE OUTFIT ON BLACK WIDOW should be shot!

Agreed. 3 of the 4 Disney Store MS exlusives look hella half assed. Thor is just so meh. Captain America looks good...for a cheap statue. Black Widow ....no ...just no

I picked up Gambit and Juggernaut just because. Gambit is pretty awesome and Juggernaut is so big I had to get it! Otherwise I also avoid this line.. especially this Widow. :x
