Hasbro/Marvel Teamed up to deliver a fun fan experience at NYCC in which they built a life size blister card with a custom background that you can step inside the plastic prison and get your picture taken. I've heard from other peopl the blister card graphics maybe green screened to change from person to person.

Yep thought the same thing when seeing the thread title. I'll have to see if there are pics online of when they did this at sdcc to see if its worth waiting in line.

yeh i thought it would be about this. i have seen this before. its really great. although the ones for 3.75 inch figures are still too big. it might look alright on a bigger figure like an MU cable or sentry or something. but too big for star wars clone trooper by the looks of it.

great idea for a present though.

I've seen them do something similar at Joe Con, and there usually is no line.

You just walk up in front of it and your buddy snaps a pic.

hahahahha. no thanks. having an action figure of myself sitting on my desk would creep me right the hell out. Plastic voodoo doll is what it reminds me of.

Its not about having an action figure of yourself, its about a photo op in front of an over sized card back.

I customized an Action Figure of myself when I was younger... it was pretty fun to play with.

To drop $50 on a head of me to put on Iron Man or not.. hmmmm... Oh wait, I can just paint my facial hair on a multiple man head like hasbro!

I'd have to see the actual product first- the images shown are sucky Photoshop manipulations- most did not scale the head properly and it looks terrible.
