Why not Angel & the Ape?
I've always felt Angel & the Ape seemed ripe for animation.
Perhaps even a better fit than in comics...Chaykin & Tischman's take was the only one with any laughs IMO (including the original; Phil Foglio's mini LOOKED great but was a snoozer beyond ish #1). I think it'd appeal to the masses. Just sayin'. -Kplan Please check out Zombee the Snowman -- at Funny or Die: Zombie Snowman! He's Funny AND Dead! It's an almost-animated musical parody! |
I've never heard of it, myself.

You should look it up. It's very bizarre. A fun concept. I can't really recommend even one of the comics (there've been several takes on the character since the '60s), but the concept...
If Timm or Dini got their hands on it, it'd be a hit. |
I'd watch it.
I think Toy Biz put out an action figure if memory serves correctly. Plus, monkeys = $$$. |
