Just picked up a little preview pamphlet in my local comic store, and I gotta say I'm really excited for the new Defenders comic... A really nice eclectic cast (Loving Doc Strange's new threads) and the first villain they go against should make it really interesting.

Anyone else got any thoughts on this series?

i havent seen the preview yet, but if they bring nighthawk back into relevance in time for his MU release, all the power to 'em. i will be buying the first issue tho, cause itll be an interesting divide from Avengers.

Me too, but for some reason I'm upset about Red She Hulk's sword.

You might find the booklet at your local comic book store, it's a flip booklet that also features news on Avengers X-Sanction.

I'm upset, but only because the sword is the only thing left of the kick ass Asgardian weapons that Stark made in Fear Itself. ^^:

A though Betty banner would in any way know how to use a sword...and why use Red She Hulk anyway? Where was Jen during all that Fear Itself stupidity?

She was off getting the shaft while Marvel tried to force these crappy characters like Red She hulk, Red Hulk, & Daken on us.

Well...considering She Hulks history ...its really not that surprising. Shes a tad easy to say the least

I actually like regular ol' She-Hulk too... She was one of my favorite Avengers before Disassembled happened, and I've enjoyed reading a few issues of her own series. I wouldn't have minded to see her in the new Defenders comic, but I've been enjoying the way Red She-Hulk has been developing and I feel she would be a fresh face on the team!

I was only making a joke Darkspeed, I did see the solicits for the new defenders book and it actually stood out to me among the other free items (postcards etc.) so I would be interested in reading the trades when they come down the pike.

Oh I figured as much dude... No hard feelings, I do love a good debate! :P

I don't read a lot of the newer stuff unless I borrow the trade from the Library unless something really catches my eye. I say that to let you know I can't really debate with you about the shes Hulk & Rulk cus I don't really know Rulk too well but the Defenders looks like it might be different enough to stand out and I hope the story works for them to be around awhile

I like Red She Hulk better than She Hulk.

I'm a huge mark for Red Hulk and Red She Hulk, but I still can't figure out where Ross hides the stache when he transforms.
