Doomsday vs. Superman Prime
 

SPrime starts off with Anti-Moniter armor, both are IC. Battle takes place in Mertropolis.
Can Superman Prime do what Superman couldn't? Can he survive Doomsday?

I don't really know enough about Doomsday to really be able to have an opinion.
But Superboy Prime punched his way through realities... so that's gotta count for something, right?

Considering he gets stronger each time, I would say much stronger. Wasn't it Hunter/Prey?

in hunter/prey, i think thats when we got the self aware doomsday...I havent read "reign of doomsday", but i did hear that DD evolved after every battle like some kind of evil pokemon.

No matter how strong he is, he cant fly and so loses.
All Superman prime (or a Green Lantern, if written properly, really) has to do is toss Doomsday into a star- gravity would keep him at the star's center, so although it might not kill him, no one will be able to get him out and he cant get out...or better yet, a black hole.

Somwone like Marvel's Blink could still teleport his head off....or his nuts.

prime would take pre-retcon doomsday and any incarnation after that.
we know the kid can fight hard,some of his feats>>>surviving the destruction of a universe twice,breaking through reality,rampaging across realities,fighting two supermen at once whilst being flown through a kryptonite belt and the heart of a sun,burning an "S" into mxylpyxlyx face,punking black adam,punking the black lanterns,punking teen titans,punking the lantern corps,punking the anti-monitor,punking die hard fanboys :D yeah superboyprime for the win.

Superboy-Prime. Not only do I think he'd kick Doomsday's ass but he's just a better villain anyway. I always thought Doomsday was a poor man's Hulk and thought it was lame he was the one who killed Superman. Oh well.

i've always been Marvel,first and foremost.but i enjoyed superman comics,the death of superman was a brilliant read for me as a kid,But what ruined it was the 1000's of fanboys who sent DC hatemail as a result of that issue,likewise with SBP.i agree he is a far superior villain and a better character compared to Doomsday and in this fight SBP would violate doomsday(any version)in my view.
