Dark Knight Rises toyline

Hadn't seen this posted yet, so decided to do so myself (just so you know, there are some minor spoilers):

COOL TOY REVIEW: Your Source For Action Figure Images & News Mattel: The Dark Knight Rises Details
Quote:

MOVIE MASTERS FIGURES:
This assortment is all about the collector with 6-inch Movie Masters® figures designed with authentic detail and supreme quality. Collect every figure available in 2012 and receive pieces that can be assembled into a BATSIGNAL. Not only does the BATSIGNAL light up, but it also projects on the wall! Ages 4 and older.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES QUICKTEK FIGURES:
This assortment gives fans of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES the ability to gear up with BATMAN™ and fight all the villains in GOTHAM CITY. Kids can instantly change BATMAN™ into fighting gear, revealing an arsenal of weapons and accessories with a surprise reveal. Criminals beware! Ages 4 and older

THE BAT VEHICLE:
The new air attack vehicle of BATMAN™ is brought to life with launching projectiles, battle sounds and a BATMAN™ figure that launches higher than 10 feet!
I'm definitely looking forward to the Movie Master figures. If nobody else, I'll at least get a Batman and a Bane. Depending on how the finished version looks, and how many figures needed to complete it, I'm not sure if I'll try and finish the batsignal.

The "quicktek" figures sound kind of interesting, and most definitely gimmick-ridden. I might get one or two of them just to fiddle with. Some more normal 4" scaled figures would have been appreciated.

There's little chance that I'll get the "the bat" vehicle, but I do look forward to seeing it represented in toy-form. If we get a non-motorized Hot Wheel version, I'll be getting that one.

Sounds cool, but I wish they had pictures. I'll buy a Bane for sure, just not right away.

We'll most likely be getting our first look at these during Toy Fair, along with hopefully more Batman Legacy figures.

JustryGT 01-20-2012 07:48 PM

They should have made 4" figures for this movie instead of Green Lantern. I would have bought all of them. I bought none of GL.

D00MTR0N 01-20-2012 07:59 PM

6" figures suck man,oh well, the only one I will get is bane.

JustryGT 01-20-2012 08:09 PM

Oh I think they definitely need 6" figures. I just think someone at Mattel messed up by making too many Green Lantern toys and now I have a feeling that we wont get enough for Batman.

I would much rather see a 4" scale figure line then 6".

I'd like them to do both, just because its Batman focused and I'm a sucker for anything Batman.

Still Wind 01-20-2012 08:49 PM

I just want some decent articulation on the 4 inch figures, come better than GL!

eva00kai 01-20-2012 11:31 PM

Im definitely getting Bane. After that, ill just have to see, maybe they will finally give us a Ra's figure, either here or in legacy

There should be one launching for the Legacy line, there are a lot of us waiting for that one, haha.

eva00kai 01-21-2012 01:32 AM

I saw the thing about the legacy line a while back, but then nothing. Lol im not patient

redx24 01-21-2012 03:20 PM

Need a 4 inch line only if its done right.

tlasjr 01-21-2012 04:41 PM

Given all the four inch goodness coming elsewhere this is good news. I can write off DKR now Yea!

RexLewis85 01-21-2012 08:01 PM

I can't wait to see what the movie masters line is like, hell i'm still collecting TDK movie masters. I hope the price isn't ridiculous on the TDKR Move Masters like it was for Green Lantern. I'll probably buy some of the quicktek figures too...if I go as nuts as I did when TDK came out. I don't really think this line needs 3.75 inch figures.

Jlogano20 01-22-2012 10:34 AM

ill get the entire MM line hopefully the batsignal looks good

MrChips 01-22-2012 11:51 AM

I'll be getting some MM figures and somequiktek figures if the articulation's awesome

LXL_Guy 01-22-2012 01:03 PM

The build a Bat signal sounds quite enticing. Though like anything this will depend on how the figures look first.

I need to see some actual pictures of that bat signal assembled as well before I go buying anything new.

snake5289 01-22-2012 10:40 PM

If the rumors of Bruce donning a cloth suit towards the end of the movie are true I definitely want a MM figure of it.

Interesting...this is the first I've heard of this rumor. Though honestly, I have a hard time picturing that happening. Would be cool to see, and would make for an interesting movie master figure, but....we'll have to wait and see.

snake5289 01-23-2012 11:01 PM

What I heard was Bane destroys the Batcave and all of Bruce's equipment so I guess he pretty much has to put on a cloth suit. It'd be awesome but I'm not believing anything until I see it on the screen.

bigbawsmcgraw 01-24-2012 03:40 PM

ign have just posted pics of some 12" figs and busts

Ravenxl7 01-24-2012 03:49 PM

Idle Hands: Toy Fair 2012: DC Direct Rises

Just some DC Direct stuff, but it's still nice to see. I'll be waiting for Mattel's offerings. Though I have to admit, a 12" statue of Bane in a come-at-me-bro pose is definitely tempting.

snake5289 01-24-2012 07:38 PM

I love the bro-down Bane and the Hal vs Parallax statues. If the DC Direct TDKR figure turns out better than the MM version Mattel puts out I'm definitely picking one up.
