DC New 52 Detective Comics Discussion
 

Wanted to start a thread for the books I've been reading. Detective is one of them.

What do you guys think so far?

Really digging it personally. Like the art, and the grittyness of writing. I think the first arc with Dollmaker was better than the Penguin one in progress, so far.

I liked the first arc and only have read the first issue with the Penguin. I get all of my FEb books Friday

Last issue was pretty good. Got to see Penguin being cunning, taking on his role of Gotham's kingpin. And some cameos of random villians. Art was solid. Still think the first arc was better.

It was good but I wasn't sure if it was part of a large storyline or a set-up for something more. If it was a set-up it was great, if it is part of some kind of major arc it sucked.
