Are Diamond Select figures sold at Toys R Us
 

Diamond Select announced that they have the rights to make 7 inch action figures for The Expendables and i was wondering do you guys think i will find them at toys r us or will i have to buy them online?

I think Diamond Select toys are sold only in specialty shops, like e-retailers and comic stores.
Or am I confusing Diamond Select with a combination of DC Direct and Marvel Select?

Either way, you can probably score them for the same price, or cheaper at BigBadToyStore.com, than you could at TRU or a comicshop.

Yeah, only at specialty retailers, which is a shame, because I really want one of those Star Trek OS Spock Mego-esque figures from 2007 and normal retailers never sold them and the sole specialty shop in my area went out of business two weeks before they were supposed to be in stock at the shop. :(

Toys R Us has/had the Diamond Select Star Trek 6" line, and they sell Minimates. . .so TRU might end up carrying these.

Exactly. Toy R Us carries most of the Diamond Select/Art Asylum products. MOST, not all. So there's a good chance that these will show up in TRU stores.

^^ Hope so, been trying to track down one of those Retro Mego-esque Spock figures for 5 years now. :(

I don't see why not, minimates. Plus NECA sells all those other movie lines. They need a good variety
