Nope. That's the same $2000 one we've been seeing for awhile

It'll be interesting to compare the sculpt of the Wave kit to the Bandai Hi-Metal toy since both are likely to be in 1/100 scale.

Heck, if I could finish a few more of the old 80's Arii/Imai kits, I could do a major 1/100 scale VF-1 comparison review.

Go for it man! It's be a great read.True, though at the moment, I think the Bandai has the best sculpt and articulation, it looks great.

And what's the deal with that Monster? Is it a toy like the old Yamato 1/100 scale Monster or something else? Either way I want it!

I take back what I said about the Hi-Metal series, the VF-1 looks astoundingly good!

Though the price point will kill it, IMO...

Yeah the price point is what I'm worried about too. Hopefully it isn't too steep, it will be small at 1/100 scale. I cross fingers in hopes that it's actually a 1/72...in that respect a modernized HCM.
