Jade is not African American, Middle Eastern, Latina, Asian, Native American, etc... what she is however...is Edenian, Pixel, Sprite, etc.

People get into such heated debate about her race, she's a freaking video game character that isn't even from Earth! She's from her world of Edenia...and a video game character! lol

I didn't know all that lol. I just played a lot of MK and she looked black in almost all them. Just saying, but aside from that the statue isn't worth buying IMO.

you have no idea! seriously, on mk boards, people will just debate the issue to death, even though they know she's from Edenia (Kitana/Sindel/Ermac/Rain/etc Home Realm). It's gets VERY tedious and usually mods will lock it and surely enough another debate pops up...its ridiculous lol

To be fair, the fact is that they lightened her skin over time. It's very noticeable.

That first sprite, I always thought she was white with a really dark tan.
