There's a new poll up to decide which Fighting game series will have it's very own line of action figures!

Some fan favorites are gunning for the top folks! Including Marevl versus Capcom, Super smash brothers, Blazeblu, Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Guilty Gear and Skull girls!

I think umvc would be hard for them to get a license on. But they do have a relationship with capcom. Marvel sounds iffy though.

Well they do have MVC in the minimates, so I don't think it would be that hard.

but thats diamond select. and they've had right with both capcom and marvel. But know who's. money talks. Id love to see it.

Street Fighter x Tekken for me. Should check if that is even an option.

Wasn't there MvC figures back in the Toy Biz days with 90s type figures?

There were, in them were some toys that haven't appeared since, like Strider Hiryu, megaman (the only american release for a few years), and darkstalkers.

Super Smash Bros. Hands down. 4 inch scale with 15-20 pts of articulation....oh um..excuse me, I need to go change my pants....

What is Skullgirls and how is it at the top of the voting? From what google tells me it's a very new game.

A lot of hype in the fighting game community about it. Imagine old street fighter or king of fighters with hot little anime girls.

I see. It says it's an arcade title so the price probably is reasonable. Still, I would think other series would be more popular but then again I don't know what the average age is of people voting in that poll.

It's because they're ballet stuffing so skull girls will garner more attention.

yeah we need to starting doing that for marvel and smash. who would really buy those ugly ass skull girls...

To be fair, a few designs look quite good, but I'd rather have a D-arts Dante on my shelf.

They have a revoltech dante. But yeah they dont look bad I just want want game characters i play with. I really do think skull girls would work best though. D-Arts uses obscure molds.

I have that, and I'm trying to sell it. I'd rather have something more realistically proportioned. Besides, there'd be a chance to get Strider, Wesker, Morrigan, Taskmaster, Deadpool.

We'd have one hell of a line going there.

I agree, my hottoys wesker needs a partner to help sturate my room.

Do they have ANY chance of getting these licenses? They can poll all they want, but it isn't going to mean jack if the license owners don't want to do it.

They would most likely do the extremis from the umvc3

Or maybe it's just that damn good of a game? I really wanna see new MVC figs but if push comes to shove I'll take Skullgirls first.

I doubt it, realistically most 2-d fighting games are the same, I'd never even heard of it before the poll. I'd seen some fan art here and there hyping it up, but I honestly thought it was an indie comic.


Most likely they will only make one of these into a toy line, if that. I'd rather a big title with characters I'm familiar with, and that I actually will buy, than one with characters I hardly know, with one or two I might consider buying.

If I were them, I'd put out a line more likely to sell, and produce one of the SG figures as a test, maybe even as an exclusive. If it sold comparably as well as a better known figure I'd greenlight the line one by one.

Course that's just what I'd do, far as I know the only character who won a poll and was produced was Vile. I remember the poll they did like this for another line, I think it was figma DBZ, there was a mass vote for Krillan, and I'd heard that was staged with dubious results.
