So, howzabout a Hellfire Club wave? I mean, sure, not exactly something retail-worthy, but let's be real, most of us would buy it.

HabsroToyShop exclusive? Or maybe a side-by-side Walmart exclusive with Miss Sinister, a la Civil War Falcon and Winter Soldier (since I have yet to see any actual evidence that they're a two-pack)?

(I would say after the first 3 waves the essential figures would be covered by Hasbro and then we move on to more ancillary characters to further round out the X-Line, in addition with what we have already and are rumored to have, or remakes of figures Hasbro did the first time that could be redone again but as of now aren't terrible or anything.

This gives us basically two women per wave and also 5 remakes from TB era or even Hasbro and 2 new figures (in bold). I think that would be a fair expectation. That would give us a total of 8 X-waves and a few other random characters Hasbro didn't redo but did themselves (Spiral, Fantomex, Rachael Grey, Nemesis maybe a handful more?) that I don't really feel need an update. I'm purposefully excluding Selene and Madelyn Pryor because I don't think either one of them will ever see a wave release, if they are ever done it would be as exclusive non-retail only, due to their...um...lack of..costumes.

Sad that you didn't find a place to put Marrow in there, Nash :p

And what's funny is I actually want Marrow more than any of the other X-ladies that would be brand new except Moonstar. But I just don't think she would be high profile enough to get in before the ones I did include.

Store exclusive alongside Wave 4 - with a Storm and a Callisto in the wave, it would make sense (not to mention her short-lived crush on Cannonball, and the fact that she was involved in one of the notable Shadow King battles).

What about Silver Samurai?

He is actually rumored to be the BAF with the rumored Wolverine wave for next year. Although I am very much taking those rumors with a grain of salt. We never saw any ID or product/DCPI numbers, and nothing has been said about it since. Also it would have featured 4 women out of 8 figures, an unheard of amount. Not that I would be complaining, if they truly did a BAF with Silver Samurai and included the Old Man Logan, Weapon X, All New Wolverine, Sabretooth, Maverick, Lady Deathstrike, Mystique and Sabretooth I would be thrilled.

But I would not get my hopes up until at the very least the rumor pops back up again.

So I decided that the Stryfe figure needed some company. With that, here's a Mutant Liberation Front wave.
