I almost pulled the trigger on the Joy Toy Warhammer 40K figures, because of your awesome Battle Sisters pictures. But the bbts site was broken... I don't know if it was good or bad, but i spent the money for JTWH40K figures on the bike of my s.h.figuarts Kamen Rider Zero One. lol

I think that is a good choice too haha. I’ve been finding it hard to just keep myself from preordering the Argent Shroud and Bloody Rose sisters and their war-suits. Then there’s the Necron set that is awfully tempting too. So in a way, you avoided a rabbit hole haha.

I am still not safe from the rabbit hole. I can do something crazy any moment. lol

I've never actually been a fan of the Gantz manga since I absolutely despised the protagonist. While many people thought he improved over the series, I felt that it was not enough to make up for the things he did at the start. I did really like Gantz O though, with Kato as the protagonist.

That being said, this is a figure I absolutely hated when it was revealed because I thought they did a horrible job from the product shots they revealed. Then I recently saw it in person, and I really liked it and had to hunt it down. I will take some shots later with the switch out weapons, but here she is with the Z-gun.

It is a very detailed and magnificent figure indeed. It's not a character I know, I looked it up on google. The photos you took are magnificent and the facial details look more successful.

Each of your photos reminds me of something, haha, I think it's beautiful. :) This time I remembered the game called Gunz Of Duel. Maybe you know that game. I remember the character on the poster of the game, I think you can notice it when you look at it on google.

I was not aware of the game, but looking at the pics of posters for it, the female character does have resemblance haha. I suppose all the creators of these games and manga/anime/movies do take inspiration from each other. So there is bound to be some overlap.

Thought I'd share a shot of Huntress 1/12 by Mafex. As I have probably said in this thread and others, Huntress is my number 1 female character from DC. So I was really looking forward to this release. It is great for the most part, though some design choices are questionable. The range of motion is reduced in some ways while it is completely beyond your average figure in some other ways. So a very respectable release regardless of the few shortcomings.

Huntress looks amazing and nice posters. I wish Huntress was still around today in Batbooks... I espacially want the Black Canary, Huntress, Batgirl Birds of Prey Batbook back. She is in the new Green Arrow book as a supporting character nowadays, i think. I saw her in the latest Green Arrow promotion poster among Green Arrow crew but is she still the italian girl Helena Bertinelli, i really like, i don't know. They turned her into an American Minority character or something, i think.

I haven’t followed the new version. I’ve somewhat given up on the entire comic industry in recent times because the stories have too much social commentary baggage. So I just collect the older collections like the BoP releases they are doing now or figuredesigns I like from new ones. I really do not understand why these companies switch the background of existing characters like that as well since it’s just bad business practice. Oh well, maybe after awhile they will get back to it.

Veryfigure, one issue is that there are so many different units in this line that the spending can creep up fast. It is so tempting. But otherwise, it really fills the more warfare type figure aspect really well. So definitely worth checking it out :)

I understand very well what you want to say about collection types. You are right. Sometimes more than one figure appears in front of us at the same time and it is very difficult to choose.

By the way, there was a TV series called Beetleborgs in the 90s. Maybe you know. I was watching from time to time. I bought a shadowborg robot figure from that series today. Coincidence came my way. I tried so hard not to buy it, but it's too late now. :) I'll share photos soon.

Indeed. So many great figures out there that it can get pretty crazy picking and choosing sometimes :) I am not too familiar with the show, but looking forward to seeing your pics of the robot figure.
