I've had a Hawkeye for three weeks now I can't get rid of. Now my wife put something on top of it so the card is dented. :(
I have 0 confidence in local distribution now. I just ordered my first wave online.

SquirtleSquad7 07-02-2012 03:43 PM

If anyone's looking for Black Widow or Hawkeye, the Raynham Flea Market's little wrestling figure booth thing inside has them, for 20 each... kinda crazy, but if you're desperate, then that's for you.

I also saw a Skrull for 14 and the Red Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor 3 pack for 33 bucks at New England Comics in Brockton. They also had a lot of MU stuff and other cool figures. Somewhat overpriced though, on certain items, as they price according to demand.

tlasjr 07-04-2012 10:04 PM

hope everyone had a good fourth. Welcome Squirtle. Hasn't been much activity here lately. I know I've been half heartedly looking for BW other than that buying up all the k's from TRU and Target.

Do you collect loose or MOC? I have a HE with some card damage if you're still looking.

bmorr 07-05-2012 12:37 PM

i spotted 2 malgus' today at plainville target. theres one left. they also got in another case of legends, wave 2 with the green spidey.

SquirtleSquad7 07-06-2012 11:24 AM

I collect loose. :]

bmorr 07-06-2012 12:15 PM

yeah so do i. im not a MOC guy unless its something valuable thatd have no place displayed loose, like Malgus for example.

kdawg01970 07-07-2012 05:31 PM

Im glad to see someone in Mass is finding good shit. I fucking gave up men! The only way that i have been able to score anything is on Ebay. I just cant take driving from place to place for hours and finding NOTHING...

bmorr 07-08-2012 05:33 AM

yeah seriously. But im going early every wednesday to see if the new waves hit the comic shops. Plus, i like keeping you guys informed.

SquirtleSquad7 07-09-2012 08:26 PM

Emerald Square mall has some cool shit, Marvel-wise. The Disney store has MU, and some pretty good ones. The paint is a little shotty on the ones I saw. Also, there is some MU in the FYE. including a red hulk. The real jackpot is The Toy Vault. Some stuff is up there, but there's a large selection. I picked up a MU skrull loose for 8 bucks, well worth it. They have a lot of Transformers, DC, and other various stuff. Again, The prices all depend what you're looking at. Great place to just look too though.

I can't believe I didn't check the boards. malgus and widow are all I've been looking for new. That kills me, I was on vacation all last week too.

I went hunting and I found nothing. I went as far north as North Conway. The Walmart there had the entire case pack of wave three avengers. But no widow.

Did find some non retail goodness. Hubardston Flea scored me a y-wing, and Fancy Pants hooked me up with a Shocker.

Anybody goign to SDCC?

I wish.

bmorr 07-11-2012 11:02 AM

Bellingham TRU had the first wave of Transformers FOC figures(Jazz, Prime, and Shockwave)

bmorr 07-13-2012 12:33 PM

Attleboro Toysrus has a fresh restock of gi joe figs and a older looking joe snow cat-ish vehicle.

tlasjr 07-13-2012 08:43 PM

I know the TRU in Peabody got 10 pallets of random of old items.

TJX corp stores have G.I. Joe Black Dragis and Crimson Hiss's for 16.99

SquirtleSquad7 07-14-2012 10:24 AM

Has anyone actually even seen Black Widow or even Hawkeye at retail? We have terrible distribution, my god.

I bought the only one ive ever seen today at a drug store in medfield. unfort. had to pay 15 for it, but its the last one ill ever see

SquirtleSquad7 07-14-2012 12:07 PM

The only time I saw Hawkeye and black widow were at my local flea market, and I wasn't about to pay 20 bucks for each.

bmorr 07-14-2012 12:55 PM

why does new england suck so much at retail.....its like we have to work harder to find stuff than the rest of the US

tlasjr 07-14-2012 09:02 PM

I went to Walmart yesterday they had two hawkeyes, two skrulls, evryhting from that case ...except black widow. I figured since they just restocked I'd keep looking. Two more same result. I was going to go on my saturday rounds today but then Lord Marvel sold me one for 15. I went for it because it likely would have cost me 30 in gas.

I still have a hawkeye for cost is anyone collects loose.

I think we suck because the junk is shipped by boat from asia. we are about as far as you get from the receiving ports

Tarooster 07-15-2012 03:20 AM

Yeah you'd think with Hasbro being located here we'd get a little better distro but like you said, it all comes in on the other side of the country.

Anyway, thinking about hitting a flea market or two today. Anybody know how raynham is for toys? I've been to grafton and scored some mus cheap there but I'd like to try somewhere new today.

bmorr 07-15-2012 06:23 AM

ive been meaning to the grafton flea market. is it any good?

SquirtleSquad7 07-15-2012 08:24 AM

The only flea market I've been to because it's close to me is Raynham. It's alright for toys, every once in a while you'll find a gem. There are a few places inside that have some crazy prices. They price based on the amazon selling price, I've seen them check. But, it all depends what you're looking for. Like I said, BW and Hawkeye were 20 each in there. All depends.

SquirtleSquad7 07-15-2012 08:29 AM

I might actually go there today. I'll let you guys know if I go and if I find anything good. Anything you guys wanna know about in particular?

Tarooster 07-15-2012 08:36 AM

Yeah I went, found a couple good deals. MU hobgoblin and im2 iron longer for $5 each. Loose ML wonder man and thing for $10 for both.

Yeah that one guy with lots of stuff was way overcharging for almost everything. He wanted between 25-40 for some of the new legends that you can still find at retail in some places $15. I saw the bw and hawkeyes, no way was I paying $20 for them though. I did grab the earlier series MU Namor from him for $10 though, that was pretty fair I'd say.

Another couple guys had some legends but they were also pretty overpriced. They wanted $25 for legends like x23, aoa saber tooth, etc. that you can find much cheaper online.

Grafton isn't bad but it's pretty hit and miss, I've found MU carded figures for $2 before but they were all pegwarmers but still pretty cheap.

SquirtleSquad7 07-15-2012 09:15 AM

Where... Where did you find the hobgoblin! D: are there any more cool MUs?
