I don't see the dilemma about whether or not the group can stay on the farm..uh sorry old man..you are outnumbered and outgunned..we are staying. :-) What's he gonna do..call the cops? Haha

Gotta remmeber though Rick doesnt work like that. Even now that the fit has hit the shan he remains a good person and won't take the farm by force.

dude I thought the same thing!that whole farm family rubs me the wrong way, what the hell is that old Dbag gonna do?maybe he will release his pet walkers on them, what a bunch of creeps they are, shane and rick need to either overun them or leave,I would opt for option A. though.

On the matter of action....I think its childish to complain about lack of action in a drama. It would kinda be like me complaining that there isn't deeper richer writing in wrestling. Last nights episode was very interisting. I think a lot of people are looking at hershal as if he was wrong or crazy. All be it I don't 100% agree with all his decision I still have to think....what if hes right. I also fully get where Rick is coming from with keeping the search going. If people arent 100% there for eachother then they are no better then walkers. Laurie ...I dont know what to say about her. Her better off dead attitude is really getting on my nerves

I wouldnt consider myself childish even though I think the show might have lacked some action in a few of the episodes. That's going a little too far there. Comparing writing in wresting to action being in a show about a zombie apocalypse with humans? Come on.....
I dont even care for most action movies and prefer a good drama over action any day but at points in the show it dragged. I never once was asking for action for the entire hour of the show. But mixing in scenes like last night in the apartment complex was refreshing. Regardless if this is a show about the people, there still is a zombie apocalypse around them that effects there every day life and should encounter zombies almost every time they are out considering how the entire world has turned zombie.
All of the personalities are great. Rick is the leader and is trying to be as consience as possible in his decisions even if they dont make sense. Laurie is stressed out because of the situation she is in especially now and I think all her feelings would be normal for most people in that situation.
The old man is a father figure to everyone and trying to be there for everyone even if he is a little too overprotective at times.

D00MTR0N 11-21-2011 01:44 PM

but we all agree hershal is a Dbag right?

Fortune 11-27-2011 08:01 PM

That was sooooo sad :( I cannot believe that at all :( Hershal needs to get shot ....a lot

D00MTR0N 11-27-2011 08:04 PM

hershal is an idiot, rick finally grew a pair and shane needs to lead the group, wtf is with rick anyway?helping that moron round up walkers?REALLY?

Tiberius 11-27-2011 08:05 PM

My brother and my gf hates Shane, Shane is my favorite. COME ON SHANE ACTION FIGURE!! Lol.

Fortune 11-27-2011 08:13 PM

F shane. Shane needs to get shot a lot. I think Im now on the other side of the walking dead club. Never ever just shock to shock thats poor writing. Also what the hell is wrong with putting people first and not just taking what you want. I mean isnt that how problems start during Z day.

As far as shane leading the group....Really? Have a psycho who will throw ANYONE under the bus for himself and 2 others. Yeah thats who I want to lead me

oh ok genius instead lets have some ahole that helps bring the very threat to the world back to hershals little zombie zoo, what shane did at the end of the show was take charge, snap those people back into reality,he saved them by taking out the very threat to all their lives while your so called leader rick was bringing more back, yeah thats a leader.

Did I ever say I would want Rick to lead me? But what I could say is Rick was getting Hershal to let them stay while keeping his humanity. They also could reinforce the barn. Like Dale said at least the world didnt take him down with it. Who cares if your a walker if you have to become like Shane. At that point there is no difference.

This is the problem with people. They always think THEY know best and any other opionon is that of a genius. Maybe the reason Rick tried to help is cuz he knows he didn't have all the answers and wanted to see it from a different point of veiw

Spacemafia 11-27-2011 08:29 PM

im not saying shane is completly stable but in that situation he did what needed to be done while rick clearly had a momentary lapse of reason, and sorry about the genius comment,I meant no ill will.

Eh its whatever. You just gotta understand Im not too happy bout the episode. I got two at home Sophias age. But I still don't think it NEEDED to be done. Yeah it gave them some answers but if it was Hershals wish then they could have reinforced the barn. They can find ways to exist together. Shanes mind set is that of a looters in a riot

Yea I know, you kinda ruined it for me since you posted this weeks ago.

Really good episode. Interesting to see how the story is going to move along and sure sucks that we have to wait until February to find out what is next.

Regardless of what happened in the entire episode, it was cool to see Rick take the lead with one bullet at the end.

Spacemafia 11-27-2011 08:40 PM

My Daughter is 3 and I feel you.....

D00MTR0N 11-27-2011 08:43 PM

rick took the lead but only after shane showed him what was up,I am not saying ricks an idiot but anyone who helps keep walkers alive so to speak is clearly as diluted as that moron hershal.

At the same time he was trying to keep his wife, boy and everyone else safe on the farm and wanted to avoid conflict with Hershal by allowing his rules regardless of how twisted they are.

Shane is a little over the top at this point and would be a reckless leader, doing what he did at the barn was not the right way to go about it.

I also have a 3 1/2 year old daughter spacemafia.

IDK I said I think she is in there and dead 6 days ago....you cant count 6 days as weeks or a week really....especially as it was what I thought was going to happen.

Again Im no insider to the show....it kinda had to happen. Hersh wanted them gone and knew they were looking for a little girl....he had to know who and what went in that barn...Im sure whoever brought her in there had to say something to him......ummmm we found a dead Zombie Girl Hersh....thats kinda I dont know sad dont you think Hersh?

Break a chickens leg and feed her....Flibbitty Flabitty Floo Im an old man who just dont get it....lol :)

D00MTR0N 11-27-2011 08:47 PM

well the barn incident made alot more sense considering the situation then the incident in the swamp with rick and hershal.

Agreed. Thats a good point omega Im glad we agree :D

Shane is the shittttttt. Sure he is losing it but everything is set against the poor guy. Gets the shaft from that woman saying it in no way is his child, feeling he did the right thing to save Carls life when he shot Otis. He is the go to guy, the only go who is willing to take charge.
