I thought it was cool that Lou Ferrigno voiced Hulk, even though it was one small line. Always nice to pay hommage, I say.

also as i type this IH is finishing on FX and when norton is meditating at the end and he grins while changing, it fits well with the always angry line from Avengers don't you think? |

So why did Hulk lose control and try to "smash" Widow when they fell? I know they were playing at the fact that Loki was messing with their heads and making them hostile, but they fell after that. So.... how come ol' Banner unleashes "the other guy" willingly at the end but seems to do it involuntarily prior to that?

Loki: "I'm not the monster, you brought the monster here." Hulk might've blamed Widow for the situation seeming like he had been setup by fury afterall and after the explosion since she initially brought him in from India. Another manipulation by Loki Most likely enhanced it. Banner may have been always angry, but he's always paranoid too. |

All I can do is theorize but I believe he can agitate or frustrate himself enough to trigger a change, but outside stress can still trigger a chanhe as well. I think the rage gets targeted at whatever Hulk sees as his antagonists. Between being coaxed onto the hellicarrier, learning of the Hulk kill cage, add a little Loki magic, some odd gamma radiation from the spear, and Banner possibly resenting Black Widow for getting him involved in all this and I can fully understand him tearing up the carrier and going aft BW. Now at the end, he's frustrated and pissed about the alien army. So I think there is two types of "Hulk out" Type one : bad situation = Hulk out Type two : ready, aim, Hulk out |
What was the relevance of the waitress in new york? they seemed to focus on her a lot, we tried to read her name tag but we couldn't.

maybe she's the directors girlfriend |

as far as the Hulk goes he hadn't been out to play in a year so maybe he didn't want to go back and figured Widow did idk
as far as the waitress goes She was the redhead girl from growing pains with Kirk Cameron, Alan Thicke, etc. I think she was the comman 'man on the street' character who believes in the Avengers being a good thing |

He has been written a number of ways over the years and his Ultimate persona is a bit more twisted. That's the nice thing because I can seem him played several different ways and be fine with each. Classic Banner would require a skin and bones super nerd tripping over himself. Hollywood doesn't have a ton of those as male leads. |
at the tender age of 29 hulk made tears appear from my eyes as i was laughing so hard as he let loose to SMASH. i thoughly enjoyed this film and may even buy the 3d blu ray when it is released, this film had me interested all the way thru and even gt me to like phil as a charecter and not just some background guy that get people to talk to each other. will buy and does anyone know are they releasing a legends scale movie hulk, gonna need 2 one for me and one for my mom a long time hulk fan

They're supposed to release the movie version of Hulk as a Walmart exclusive, not sure when though.

It was quiet for me. I was the only one who shat bricks and screamed happy screams.

that was definetly a much needed pick up for the super hero movie genre. im going to try to see it again this week.

I was really hoping War Machine [or at least Rhodes] would make an appearance when the Military rolled in though. I had the whole script idea in my head and all.
It ends with Tony going "Am I ever going to get my suit back?" Rhodes says "Haha, nope" *flies off* |
