My Walmart had the new figures of wave 4 except for the Snowtrooper but I already have some of their officers. Hux is a really nice surprise for me, it actually fairly looks like Domhnall Gleeson and I've been liking his acting as he's popped up over these past couple of years. I also got Vader's TIE fighter at Walmart. They had all of wave 3 at TRU and now that I've seen the movie I picked up Rey. She looks a lot better than the earlier figures I have seen going back to Force Friday and it is a nicely done toy but the wrist articulation could've been better.

Celtic Predator finally arrived in the mail. Unlike the Force Awakens I really don't like AVP as a movie at all. Having said that I was young enough to be suckered into thinking AVP would be cool before it came out and I came to like Celtic's design. Needless to say I was severely disappointed with him in the movie, actually I was just disappointed with everything in that movie. On the plus side Celtic way outlasted Chopper (by like two minutes) and actually did something. This toy however is excellent and reminds me that the design has many elements that are pretty cool, mainly the mask. It's no more than half an inch taller than the usual NECA pred, it is therefor notably bigger but not stupidly bigger. This new body has better articulation and is much more playable that any predator to come before. As it is I am very comfortable with the typical NECA predator's articulation because it allows you do some pretty nice varying poses and still looks very solid and pleasing. Celtic can do more dynamic poses and still looks great doing it BUT this is only because he has enough armor plates to hide these added joints so I still really don't want NECA to add a torso joint to their Jungle/City hunter bodies since those guys couldn't hide it at all and I prefer them looking as good as possible.

Since your the first person I have seen to post him out of the box, I have to ask, will the Red Skull's head from the Winter Soldier Marvel Legends series fit on Hux's body? I have came close to picking it up for that head swap purpose, but I just can't justify it in the event it doesn't fit...

I don't know for a couple of reasons. Firstly I just don't have any Red Skull toys and secondly I'm having a pretty hard time trying to pop his head off and I don't want to risk anything since he is harder to come by (at least in my area). With work it looks like it should be doable but they started making the heads on these way harder to pop off than when the line was still new.

As soon as I find a Hux myself , I will let you know. I wanted to do the red skull thing too. I am also wondering if the new Red Onslaught Skull head will work.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I had a hell of a time getting the head off of the Finn I bought yesterday so I could head swap him with one of my First Order troopers. I basically dropped the entire figure into the sink while it was filled with hot water, and it came off no sweat after a nice dunk.

I had Hux in my hand, and that was literally the only thing that kept me from picking him up twice already. The articulation doesn't look to be all that inhibited by the sculpt, and it would be nice to have a newer, more classic looking version of the Skull that could actually pose around a bit better.

Despite having no interest in getting the large Black Series TIE Fighter, I ended up grabbing another TIE Pilot tonight after noticing how different their helmets were to the original TIE Pilots, and how similar the helmets were to the darktroopers in various Star Wars games and media. In fact, I thought it was interesting how they actually look more in line with the original troopers helmets from the first trilogy, and less in line with the First Order's updated looks.

If only they had some sort of weapon storage for the pistol. Anyways, since I have a couple of extra blasters lying around, I now have a nice little Shadow Squadron group at a portion of the price of having to run out and pick up loose Shadow Troopers from the Target two pack off of Ebay. Me like very much...

Like I said I'm very pleased with it even just as a toy. His head movement is a bit limited by the jacket collar but otherwise he has ball-hinge shoulders, elbows, and wrists which all work fine and are more presentable than a bicep swivel and hinged elbows. I love that his left hand is sort of in a pointing/gesturing position for giving order poses. The jacket and skirt are both just soft enough that they don't completely inhibit pose but naturally he'd have more range without them.

I have no willpower at all.
I love these games, though. My theory is that they call it Disney "Infinity" because that is its spending potential.

Today's eBay arrivals...I still can't believe what I've found on eBay! She was the missing link to my WW loose collection. She was so rare that not a single figure was seen on eBay for months that I've been searching. She's from a JLA 4 pack. I've heard on other web sites that 4 pack has sold for $400.00 plus. The figure alone for not less than $200.00 because of how rare she is (was). But one day...not too long ago...there she was!
All dusty in the photo, I could hardly make her out. I took a gamble and bought it for...$12.00 with free shipping!!!! IT PAID OFF!!! Collection Complete!!!

There she is...the best WW IMO! and I got Composite Superman too for my loose collection, Lol!

...When your desire, it has been found
You'll be runnin' far away
When your desire, it has been found
You'll be runnin' far away

You're tellin' me it's in the trees, in the trees
It's not, it's inside me now
You're tellin' me it's on the ground, it's all around
But it's not, it's inside me

You're tellin' me it's in disguise, well, use your eyes
It's not, it's inside me now
You're tellin' me it's mother earth, some sign of birth
It's not, it's inside me

Desire

When your desire, it has been found
You'll be runnin' far away
When your desire, it has been found

It's inside me, desire
Desire

Today was a pretty good day :)
I finally picked up a couple of the new DC Icons figures, and I finally found the newest wave of the Force Awakens 3 3/4" Black Series figures.
And, on top of that, I found a Funko POP that I had assumed was no longer available at retail.
So yeah, a pretty good day ...

These DC Icons are absolutely incredible !
Sorry for being the hundredth person here to say this, lol, but these figures are like some sort of amazing hybrid of Figuarts figures and Marvel Legends.

http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psnyq39wej.jpg

While (unsuccessfully) searching for the new Jango Fett wave of the SW 6" Black Series, I finally spotted the newest Force Awakens 3 3/4" Black Series figures. Finn looks to be the peg-warmer, so I left him for later.
As I was heading to the registers with these figures, I spotted the un-helmeted Poe Dameron POP, and was absolutely shocked.
He's been at the top of my list, but I was under the impression that Wal-Mart wouldn't be restocking him after Force Friday, and since I hadn't seen him prior to this, I assumed that I missed my window of opportunity.

http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps4t5qtp11.jpg

The Inquisitor figure and the Matchbox & HW cars are all purchases from the past few weeks. I just waited to post them, since they didn't seem substantial enough to warrant a post of their own.
