Ill try other bw head later...

I'm still waiting on the new avengers figs to hit this area. The Joe figs have been swept clean off the shelves just about. No ninjas left to be seen lol.

change it back :)

Edit: I take it back. The MU head on the movie body looks really good

SH0CKWAVE 06-02-2012 11:52 AM

i like the hands on Scar Widow - gloves w exposed fingers.

*those hands would look cool on a Domino custom. <<<<

Tarooster 06-02-2012 11:56 AM

Went to TRU and picked up the reed/ultron and wolvie/samurai two packs, got them BOGO half off too cause the flag didn't specify that the sale was only for single carded figures. So I paid $25 for both packs, not bad at all. I love the samurai and ultron, both awesome. The wolvie is better than I thought it would be and the Reed is probably the weakest of the bunch. Paint job is pretty iffy and the buck is pretty shabby, I'll probably pic up the three pack someday anyway.

Pic for the last few days haul

http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/...8/IMAG0170.jpg

Really are all great except for the reed like I said, not horrible but just not that Impressive. If the lizard had some wrist and ankle articulation that would've been nice but still a great sculpt and overall look. I love the articulation on all the rest and the sculpts for cable, samurai, and ultron are really fantastic.

Compared to two pack Reed, 3 pack Reed is great. It's just a better representation (IMO at least) of his build and the headsculpt is a bit cleaner.

Yea its awesome....I still need the yellow and blue one though...But overall the BAF one is the best...He sits up top with my 90's early 2000's Avengers...Thanks for the comments..

Tarooster 06-02-2012 12:18 PM

Yeah I've seen both three packs at retail but it was for like $23 and I already have the single carded Thing so ive always held off. I think when the ff spidey comes out later on this year I'll really want the ff three pack to compliment it. I'd also like to complete the traditional team but i don't wanna buy both three packs. I'll probably end up trying to get the clear sue or the regular three pack on eBay or something and then try to find one of the single carded torches at a decent price.

What's gonna bug me is that the reed from the two pack matches color schemes with the thing I have(dark blue pants) and then I can get the Johnny that matches but there's no sue with that color as the three pack is the lighter color.

Courtesy of OV. Came in super quick. Finally scored a Renner Hawkeye.

Tarooster 06-02-2012 02:04 PM

After going to two TRUS today I wonder if they're even gonna carry MU anymore, the two packs I found were the only MU figures in either store. They didn't have any single carded figures in either place at all.

bmorr 06-02-2012 02:07 PM

its pretty lame considering its a toy store.

jaybird7072 06-02-2012 02:13 PM

The toysrus i went to today seemd to put up a fresh revison case on the pegs..

Tarooster 06-02-2012 02:17 PM

Yeah and my stores have been that way for awhile, Target is far and away the best retailer for MU right now. Walmarts pretty hit and miss, some are like the TRUs I mentioned earlier and some are stocked fairly well. Really depends on the store as the stuff is probably there just sitting in the back room most of the time.

Good luck! I haven't seen a decently priced Johnny since I stupidly passed that one up in a store many years ago.

I haven't heard it's exclusive to SDCC, but I heard it'll be there. They wouldn't pass up the opportunity to make money on those figures later. One figure? Maybe. Three? No way.

You really can't beat the new head though. Makes the old one look silly, IMHO.

It was funny how it was like someone's mom who was really nice, but totally didn't get why these things were popular last year. At least, that's exactly what the lady I dealt with was like.

Congrats OV!

Dammit. I'm still pulling out all my tricks to track these down and coming up short. I found the 6" Avengers, found the 4-Packs (twice even!), but I just can't find this damned wave 3!

Wow. Nice claws! Hasbro should put one 'ultimate' Wolverine out with these metal claws in the hands. Super posable maybe?

He did the same to me, but each was only $1 for shipping, so I didn't care.

I can see that, but I think B Widow is a pretty generic female character anyway. If it wasn't for her stealthy super spy moves, she'd be just another redheaded chick in black.

Just use the transparent Sue. Solved. ;)

I've got a dark knight movie Alfred up for trade. Looking for Scar Jo Widow and Renner Hawkeye.
