Actually, my TRU had 3 Spider UKs and 2099s on their pegs with one Jackal and 6 Symbiote Spideys the other day.

Agreed that they are actual characters.

Ugh. None in stock. I put him back I'm not going to buy just him. If it were dazzler or Polaris or sunfire or cyclops I would but I just don't feel the need to get him twice...

I cannot remember which issue but one of the first 6 from the latest Thor does a really good job of highlighting the various versions of Loki and that fact that no matter what look or gender it is always Loki. It sort of adds to the whole nebulous Loki the trickster idea. I have never been a Loki fan but I kind of liked how they explained it out.

That is the great thing about Spider-Verse. It really opened up the fans to more versions of Spider-Man. Now we get these alternate versions instead of the umpteenth standard costume Peter Parker. Total win in my book. I am still surprised that Hasbro has not done a 6" Spider-Man Noir as he was one of the more prominent characters from Spider-Verse and is now a member of the Web Warriors. Personally I want a Spider-Ham just for the LOLs.

The funny thing is, Wolverine is still one of those over-saturated characters. It has simply become less noticeable from a Legends standpoint because of the limited number of X waves and the fact that Deadpool has seen such a rise since the movie. Still, we will probably never see a version of Deadpool in every X wave. Every recent X wave has had one version or another of Wolverine. I believe this latest wave is the only departure from the straight up standard Logan in a different costume. If we were getting more than one X wave a year it would probably be a lot more noticeable. I am in no way a Wolverine fan but I might actually pick up Old Man Logan just because he is something different.

I completely agree though. If I can pass up the character I do not want but he makes others happy, more power to them. Then I can decide to buy the figure later if/when it goes on sale. However, it would be nice if they would stick to not including BAF pieces with the repeat characters. Nothing like feeling forced into the character because you want the stupid BAF piece. I'm looking at you black suit Spidey....

After finishing the GOTG2 wave last week, I was hoping for a break on both my wallet and my sanity on running from place to place. And then I run into just him today. Here we go again....

The thing about Logan is how many other versions of him can you make at this point before you have to start pulling stuff out of your butt like Toy Biz often did? I suppose there's classic tiger stripe and the Morrison-era one.

Honestly id love a team x wolverine! old man logan colossus and sunfire are really the only ones i want. Not digging polaris hair n head sculpt and never cared for that outfit. Until we get outback dazzler and longshot im okay with not getting these new xfigs.

They need to keep releasing character like Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain, IronMan, etc as gateway drugs to people like me who dont have a Jim Lee Wolverine or whatever. Waves full of obscure characters is how you get Utron and Red Skull waves clogging shelves for years....

Its the same with WWE. Hardcore collectors can complain all day about too many Cenas, Rocks, Undertakers, etc, but there is always a kid/manchild buying his first and Hasbro/Mattel want to make sure there is one on the shelves for them.

For me there are only two Wolvies... tiger stripe and brown suit, so glad I stopped reading comics in the mid 90s. LOL. Same with Spidey... only two versions for me, regular red & blue and black suit... although I did break down and buy Spider-Gwen, but probably would have passed on her if it didn't come with the alt normal head.

Trivial Psychic, great find! I saw the new Old Man Logan figure today and was pretty excited, but they didn't have any of the ones from the new wave that I want. After checking some other stores and asking around, I was wondering if they are actually out yet or if it was put out by accident or something.

Do you guys know, are most waves available at most places or will Walmart get the Sandman BAF wave and Target get the Warlock BAF wave (just as an example). Just want to cut down my running around if some store chains won't get certain waves. Thanks!

I found almost all of the Guardians wave yesterday! No Darkhawk, but I think he'll turn up soon. I was super annoyed because there 2 Nova boxes on the shelf. One had Nova, the other had the Walgreen's exclusive Ant-Man with a Green Goblin BAF part. I brought it up to customer service and the girl at the desk called me a nerd for knowing it was the wrong figure. I really, really wanted to tell her she sucked at her job, but I was polite about it. Makes me wonder if she was part of it. Freaking scalpers.

The only genuinely retailer-exclusive wave since Marvel Legends started up again in 2012 was the TRU-exclusive X-Men Wave in 2014. Other than that, all waves should show up in all retailers. Of course, with Hasbro's shoddy distribution, you might not see some waves in some stores in your area, but that's a different issue.

I appreciate the info! I was talking to a guy who works at one of the local comic shops today and he was explaining how they ship them out in cases, so you end up with a shortage of the popular ones and a glut of the ones no one wants. I never knew that, so now I know why I feel like Indiana Jones looking for the Arc sometimes with some of these lol.

Whats weird is that someone bought Collosus, cyclops, shatterstar and sunfire but left these and OML. Weirder...it's two cases worth. No doubles to sell though as my friend I was with is a female figure collector, sorry.

Forgot to mention this was at Mt Juliet target for anyone in the area.

Wasn't Jane Foster Thor said to be in a Thor wave? It seems more likely she is the comic Thor in the Thor wave than an exclusive.

I feel the same way, i don't know why Noir hasn't been done yet. Spider ham would be a definite purchase for me as well. i also think we're due for another 6 arm spidey or a spidey as he became the man spider.

I see a few of you are discussing the old man logan figure. he is a definite purchase for me, however im just very blah on the his face.... looks more like the "nice" version of him i believe Ramos does the art on the series. i would prefer if he had the sorrentino mean look to him.

#1 You missed the Sandman wave, which, although it kinda came out in late 2016, is supposed to be a 2017 wave, as well as the WalMart-exclusive Black Panther.

#2 You listed "Dead Meat" in the Spider-Man Homecoming wave, and did not list Vulture (I'm pretty sure Dead Meat was a codename for one of the comics figures in the wave used in the leaked wave lineups).

#3 You labelled the A-Force pack as a 5-pack instead of a 6-pack.

#4 You listed the Star-Lord/Yondu and Strange/Astral Strange 2 packs despite them being 4 inch figures, when the list otherwise does not include the 4 inch Legends.

#5 Jane Foster Thor is going to be in the Thor wave that you mentioned (probably the figure labelled "Thor", as opposed to "Thor (Movie)" or anything else), and you didn't mention the Thor 2-pack whose contents we do not yet know.

Other than that, I think you got pretty much everything else spot-on.

Regarding the Thor: Ragnarok wave here, it's still a rumor and hasn't been proven. One online toy retailer, DorkSideToys, even mentioned on another forum that this rumored wave "could just be totally made up."
