Its really hard to think that ppl are all picking these up for their friends, when you go to ebay and see a set of these for 300+..Like I said I don't shop ebay, but I look...Scalpers are the worst....

Anyways I'll done with this convo...

I agree about Hasbro's shitty case assortments and cramming "popular" characters down our throats with reissueing, repacking and repainting them, in lieu of the real fan favorites. They do get a few things right though, like having a comic series in their movie lines, the multi packs are usually good, and updating past releases with new bucks.

And while these are kids toys, I wish they would hire someone to look at and read these forums, and report their findings back to RnD back at HQ!

That'll be the day. I also wonder who it is that decides which characters will and won't sell well. They under produce some fan favorites and then reissue so many figures that any kid who wanted would already have.

Found myself a hawkeye at target here in Chicago. They still had 2 skrulls. But no black widow.

I Love to use the Glue Gun, those are simple plastic Wire from the box of my Sentinel Masterworks.

I used Crazy Glue! I did that a couple of years ago, I didn´t know about the "Heating and Cooling" trick.

Showdown HTF figs are officially no longer cheap, its true. The cat is out of the bag. Marvel 3.75" is so damn popular now that you can count your lucky stars you're not entirely new to the line. I would hate to be totally new and have sooooo much catching up to do.

bmorr 06-03-2012 05:12 PM

yeah seriously, there must be around 500+ figures when you combine MU, both spidey lines, thor, avengers, iron man, cap, and wolverine. Im probably missing something else, i just know it.

Looking good so far!! I always liked the tall thin 90's style Apocalypse, cool as the MU one is,he's just too..hmmmmm..dumpy for my liking......

shortysben 06-03-2012 05:25 PM

Subject change...quick complaint, and hopefully someone more EBAY savvy can answer...

So I sold an item on ebay which closed at 26$ preship, AND an item that sold for 20 preship, same buyer bought both items and then never paid. So I filed a non-payment claim on both items...

The buyer by the way had (7) feedback at this time

So I waited for the person to pay up, but they never did, so I got a credit...I couldnt wait to flame this person with negative feedback (as I hate more than anything when someone "buys something from me" and then never pays)...

Went to leave neg feedback for the person, and it said I couldnt leave feedback for them as the item was unpaid, and no feedback could be left...

so my question is this...will the two unpaid claims hurt this buyers ability to buy? any justice for shortysben here? as I resold the items, and the one that was 26$ first time around ended at 14$...

I feel like the original buyer should owe me 12$ here....whats up with this?

Boba Fettuccini 06-03-2012 05:31 PM

If you open a case against them, ebay can investigate it and they can have action taken against them. I sold a vintage Skipper doll to someone who never paid and after i reported the case, I was informed the person's account had been revoked.

DogFashionDisco 06-03-2012 05:41 PM

Yeah, it would be a pain in the ass to try and own every single figure.

^^^ this sounds like your best course of action.

Yeah, I agree with the others. I've had the same thing happen to me several times and it does seem to be a pattern with users with a low feedback count. As far as I know that's the only real course of action unless someone knows otherwise.
