Come to think of it now, that I've looked at it for a little longer, it actually looks like a younger JC Chasez from NSYNC.

It makes me wonder if this is supposed to be a comic book figure, and not an MCU version of it.

Started another New Mutant to throw into the X-Force/New Mutants case. Going back to the final days of the team I went with pre Genosha X-Tinction Agenda Rictor (probably the last time I really liked the character) He's a bit small by ML standards so I'm still considering alternate builds (but most ML figures with bare torsos make him way too big for that era) Right now he is a Luke Skywalker ANH torso on DC Multiverse El Diablo legs... he may end up in the junk bin if I can find better parts.

First saw him and honestly thought he was the start of a Ray Carter/Berzerker custom (though more because of his WatXM appearance than his comics look).

they totally stole Rictor's look! Ha! Actually the first version I built using DCUC Superboy Legs and a Kraven torso (which just feels too big for this era Rictor)would pass as a "Future" WatXM Berserker.

Am I the only one that can't find this X-Men wave at all? I checked nearly every Target in the immediate area, and it's nothing but pegwarmers from previous waves.

Don't know if Houston is just a bad area for finding toys or what

^ My Target has the X-men wave 1 pegwarmers too and a bazillion of the Ghost Rider Spidey wave... minus all the Ghost Riders. The sucky thing is they actually clearanced out all the other ML figs... most went all the way down to $6, which left only the X-men wave 1 pegwarmers on the pegs... and unfortunately they immediately restocked with the Ghost Rider Spidey wave at full price.

But Sunday is usually the day my Target puts out new stuff... so I still have hope.

Same here in the Schertz/Cibolo area. I'm guessing they just haven't reached this far into Texas quite yet.

So I went to two Targets today. Surprisingly enough, the first one had some new Guardians figures. Everybody except for Kid Nova, Angela and Darkhawk, which is fine since I have all of those except for Angela. I ended up picking up Drax and Vance Astro, twould figures that I'm not necessarily that thrilled about but they do bring me closer to completing Titus, which means the only one I need now is Angela (who I have preordered).

2nd Target is...interesting. Once again, the legwarmers from the first X-Men wave but then they had an entire case of the Guardians Legends....from 2014. I'm guessing that the old wave and the new wave share the same DPCI and they happened to have a whole case of them sitting in the back and put them out because they thought it was new product. Kinda funny actually, but anybody in Houston that needs anything from that wave, the Target on Highway 6 has them lol. Unfortunately, this likely means this Target will be a bust for new Guardians figures for the foreseeable future.

I have seen two Target stores with 2014 Guardians waves at them as well, here in central MA. I assumed it was someone returning them at the first store, but I have seen reports on social media of this all over the country. Target is definitely restocking those old figures, I'd love to hear the story behind it.

I would highly suggest if you guys want the new GOTG and Groot to be at Toys R Us right as they open on the first.

My toys r us both have multiples of That Exclusive Groot. He is a fast improvement from the BAF one.

Damn sorry man well my town i have yet to see the X men wave two or Shocker so it has its up and Down sides.

So weird... I think he looks exactly like Chris Pratt... actually... staring at it... he kinda looks like a mix between Chris Pratt and a young slightly more handsome Arnold. Either case though... I love the headsculpt... best ML male headsculpt IMO.

Vol. 2 Star Lord looks freakin' fantastic with the coat from the original Star Lord. And I must say that these movie Guardians are probably my favorite batch of MCU figures to date. Rocket and Gamora are definitely getting replaced by the newer versions. Not sure about Groot; the stoic expression of the original one is a bit more versatile in posing for me.
