Either way looks ridiculous....

James David Bruce Logan Howlett Banner.....this has to be marvels biggest gafaw since hiring bendis.

I have Deadpool, snuck him in, but he doesn't have the BAF. I may start looking into getting the others before they disappear.

I'll make sure to stay far away from that.... sucks because im a big REAL wolverine and REAL hulk fan.

in other news i went to a target local to me this afternoon. i figured " oh hell let me give it a try" and when i walked in to check to see if anything new marvel legends wise was on the shelf. All i saw were 4 misty knights and 4 white tigers..... needless to say i wasn't too please and just walked out a tad bit annoyed.

I'm not a huge Deadpool fan, but that figure is awesome. I might have to grab one if I can find it.

I hear you on that, those two are all over the place here too. I know they want to keep the numbers pretty even due to the BAF, but I wish they would produce more of the more popular ones once they knew which ones.

I went to a local collector show and ML Deadpool was only going for 30-35 bucks max... thought that was pretty cheap considering he's Deadpool and all. And almost every booth had at least one Deadpool... so I know why I could never find one at retail. LOL. I think Kitty's price is just a temporary bump due to people finding the new Colossus now and they suddenly want Kitty to go with him.

It is weird though... I don't think the current ML figs are holding their value anymore... not like just a few years ago anyway.

kylactus 02-25-2017 10:04 PM

I was thinking the same thing as far as the after market values. Hell, I got the entire abomination wave, which I've never seen at retail, for 6-8$ per figure, and absorbing man for about the same. I'm yet to pay more than retail for any ML figures from the last two years. Even when you can't find a figure at retail it's online somewhere cheaper. That and the exclusives don't seem to be nearly as hard to find as in the past. I think scalping may be dead? I know there are people on eBay with deadpool listed for 100$, but they ain't getting it when there are fifty more for just above retail.

There are always one or two that end up being above retail everywhere if you don't jump on them early. Wolverine in the Juggernaut line is that one right now. It's offset by every other figure being half retail. My local comic shop had him listed at 27 last week on FB, and he was called for 5 minutes after the post. They probably could have picked up a little more margin. They must have been using old prices, because I know a lot of shops comp right of Amazon and EBay. Either way, I'd rather give my business to a comic shop over Walmart or Amazon.

You can pick him up pretty cheap on EBay right now. The secondary head is exquisite once you get it out the box.

Randomly found a full case of guardians legends today at target while searching the area for the new xmen wave.

Defiantly a decent wave worth picking up.

I would say if you don't care for the baf to just skip out on Vance Astro as this figure is as generic and boreing as they come. He is honestly the only real stinker in the wave

Nostalgic 02-26-2017 06:02 AM

I have the Herioc Age Iron Man from the BAF Iron Monger wave, but I'm not loving it. What Iron Man would you guys recommend? I want to put together a decent Avengers team.

Is $30 a decent price for Deadpool? A local comic shop has one and I was thinking about picking it up tomorrow.

I have a lot of Iron Man figures, but my favorite is still the 2 Pack/Iron Monger Wave Classic Iron Man. I always loved that costume.
I would think $30 is good for Deadpool. Chances are he won't be hitting toys r us or target again.

Action Figures, Toys, Bobble Heads, and Collectibles at Entertainment Earth

SymbiSpidey 02-26-2017 07:47 AM

YES! Saw that one of the Targets near me went from 0 to 16 on Brickseek, went there and sure enough they had some new X-Men. Just Sunfire, Polaris and Shatterstar (all of whom are getting picked up), but I'm gonna see if there's possibly more in the back. I paid a little too much than I would have liked to for Cyclops online but I can return it if I just find one here.

EDIT: They had one figure left in the back...it was Dazzler :D

Thanks, just looked it up and that figure does look great!

I saw the pictures of that one and it looks awesome. I wasn't sure the scale on it, but if it fits in with the Legends I'm in.

The X-Men wave is the same as the old one, 087065418.

Historically, the Mezco figures fit in well with Legends, if just a slight, slight bit taller (which actually works for Iron-Man).

I paid 30 at my local shop last week. You can find a bit cheaper on EBay, but the 2-3 dollars isn't worth it if you can grab it off a shelf, IMO.

Get the Hulkbuster wave if you're assembling an Avengers squad. You can still find most of that entire wave on the cheap, for now. The Black Widow from the Mandroid wave might set you back a bit though.

Archangel 02-26-2017 01:53 PM

Walgreens can be a honey hole for figures. They will drop them 25% when they're closing out product. I picked up a Spidey 2099 last year hitting the local stores, despite him running 50+ online.

Are the Mezco figures available in stores or online sales only?

The Hulkbuster wave Iron Man looks sick. I'm more of a fan of the red and gold look, but I might have to grab that one too. The Vision from that wave is nice also.

Only online sales and specialty shops (like comic book stores).
