they are definitely bigger then some of the previous Predators...

They aren't really any beefier but they are a little taller and have a lot more armor. I have Celtic and he's displayed next to the mint Renegade and you can tell he's bigger but it's not like such a terribly big gap that it makes the previous predators look any smaller. Really though the new pose is what makes these guys shine.

Very are you going to get the other CW figures? Bruticus by far the best one so far.

Sounds like he might make some Preds look a little anorexic which is fine I guess since there are only a few that are lanky. looking.

One thing I forgot to add is how the muscles on the AVP preds are more defined as in they have the appearance of bulging compared to how the classic bodies are much smoother on the contours.

Speaking of lanky predators, I now highly anticipate NECA giving us an updated Wolf at some point.

The celtic kinda towers over the 2 pack renegade, he however is similar in height the scavage. i know your gonna get a laugh but this guy can't seem to stand to well either, either that or he's just top heavy as well.

Yeah all the Wolf line were pretty lanky. I mean at least it was consistent, but be nice to get a new, beefier one.

Decided to stop by TRU on my way to work today, and to my surprise, left with a nice haul. Picked up most of the new Marvel Legends Cap wave (Taskmaster and Sharon Carter were gone...no surprise) along with General Huxley and the T-800 Pops from NECA.

Upon getting home with him though, I noticed something very interesting about "Pops". I noticed he had two marks across the face, which I am sure is nothing more than a QC error, but I actually didn't mind so much because it gives him a unique, scarred look.

That's when I realized that he was on an entirely different body, as this one was missing the battle damage to the chest. He also has the hoodie that was featured on the original T800 Guardian figure. I thought that maybe the figure had been swapped out and returned to the store initially, but then I realized all the accessories were correct, and the box had not been resealed or taped, making this clearly another QC issue from Neca.

Thankfully, despite all these issues, it works out for the good, as I rather dig it, and am happy to add this unique looking (if for the wrong reasons...lol) Terminator to my collection.

My Celtic stands perfectly fine, though his left knee is notably loose unless it's bent. He doesn't really tower the other preds, he's definitely taller but I guess I reserve using the term "towers" for like if the regular predator only went up to his chest but as is they go up to the neck area at least. The AVP guys are a head taller at most, I don't feel like straightening Celtic to do a proper comparison picture. Also it doesn't make sense that Celtic could tower a Jungle Hunter figure but be similar in height to a super predator that's barely any taller than a Jungle/City hunter.

Wolf in the movie was just pretty thin for a predator.
That is similar to how my Elder Predator v2 has a dot of silver paint under his right eye that shouldn't be there but it fits in as a predator liver spot, he is supposed to be very old after all.

Well we never disagreed that the AVP guys are certainly taller, I was just expressing that I feel saying Celtic towers over Renegade (Pudding!) is a bit of an overstatement. It's not like he makes the guy look like a kid or anything.

I haven't bought shit but a new house. About three weeks ago, the mississippi river screwed us big time. Caused half of our basement wall to collapse, so we hate to get out fairly quickly. But hey, got a new house on some high ground this time. Yay adulthood.

Yea I'm in search for another job right now, so after i get some extra money, I'll probably pick them up! Have yet to see an onslaught tho!

Went to about 15 stores looking for the new TMNT figures only to find mostly empty shelves still. I did pick up a few items. Was super disappointed that I could not find bowser jr as I wanted him the most.

Sadly this new set seems to only show up at toys r us and they have such a stockpile of donkey and diddy kong figures this is the first wave they actually had since wave 1, and I doubt more will show up.

Yea I'll pass on them, just want bruticus mostly and maybe computron heh wouldn't mind getting viper, shockwave, and pipes tho maybe
