That was one of the best parts of the movie.

Both Faora and Zod would be great. Though I don't see Mattel doing either on their own, so maybe in a multi-pack? How about a Man of Steel equivalent of the upcoming Date Night 4-pack? Could be Superman, Lois Lane, Zod, and Faora.

Also, if Doomsday is the big-bad in Batman v Superman, they could do him as one of those larger figures like they're doing for Croc, Grundy, and Clayface.

I'd buy a MoS 4-pack like that in a heartbeat. Probably be the only way they could sneak a Lois figure into stores unfortunately.

Haven't heard anything about Doomsday being in Superman/Batman...hmmm. Honestly I'd hope they save him for a Death of Superman movie down the line.

eva00kai 01-13-2015 08:35 PM

If i remember correctly they confirmed that Doomsday would be in BatsvsSupes. They never said in what capacity though

snake5289 01-13-2015 09:49 PM

Wow didn't see that coming. Awesome.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there was ever an official announcement stating that Doomsday would be in BvS. As for what capacity, I can't imagine him not being the big-bad that gets Bruce and Clark teamed up and looking beyond their differences. I'm not sure what else they would or even could do with him.

Would be kinda hilarious if Doomsday on ancient Krypton was the big cinimatic element they hinted at for this movie, and that was it. No connection to the actual plot of the movie, just a big CGI scene for the fun of it.

snake5289 01-14-2015 12:00 AM

I can live with that. Hint at Doomsday sure but save bringing him in full-on for a Death of Superman movie. That could easily be the best movie of all time if they get it right.

Was surprised to see Target raised the price of the Multiverse line to $12.99! I went to K-Mart and picked up Harley Quinn Batman for $9.99.

Yeah in my area they raised it to 14.99!! And last week they were 9.99..But I did find one Black Mask last night! So I had to get it. They only had 1 and it was the first time I have seen it in a store.

Yeah I found that out last week myself. I was about to pick up Red Hood until I used one of the scanners all around the store. Good thing I picked up Two-Face before Christmas when it was still 9.99.

slim19722 01-16-2015 05:55 PM

Hit up a Walmart that still has pegs for Multiverse and although the increase isn't as high as Target's, they're up from $9.99 to $10.92.

Slightly off topic but connected: I wonder (fear) if Mattel may be considering taking the DC movie tie-in figures to the 2.5" scale, like what Hasbro is doing with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Maybe they will skip doing 3.75/4" for BvS.

That would suck so badly but I doubt they would do this since they really just got back into 3 3\4 figs. This 2.5 crap seems to pop up every few years and bombs out because they at 2.5 most figures look like cheap crap from those quarter machines. Mattel doesn seem to pop out to many vehicles for the 3 3\4 figures so I'm guessing things will be ok for B Vs S.

How about this:

Bad news: For BvS, Mattel chooses to make 2.5" figures for playsets and vehicles, along with a line of 6" and larger figures.

But good news: They continue with MV for the adult collector, although the MV waves at that point won't feature BvS.

So I hit up one off the TRU's in my area and they had multiverse figures for 6.99! Unfortunately they only had figures I already have. The inconsistency is crazy

Has anyone checked books a million for pricing lately?

snake5289 01-17-2015 08:45 PM

Nope. Next time I stop by I'll give them a glance though.

Autobot_Goldbug 01-17-2015 09:50 PM

I hope the Date Night set comes sooner than later. Also the large 2 packs.

FlexxToy 01-17-2015 10:14 PM

I found Black Mask, Harley, Joker, and Origins Batman at Meijers for $8.99.

Origins Batman is the best version of Batman in the MV line.

Captain Morgan 01-18-2015 08:29 AM

I had a $20 dollar coupon from Ebay so I got a Black Mask Multiverse for 99 cents!
