AGREED....this movie was EVERYTHING i wanted it to be from the first time I saw a preview that showed that it was a work in progress...

it was raw...and a had lot less of a "fantasy" feeling to it.
Solid movie..with a good story...that's what i needed...

Just because he likes dudes doesn't mean he's ok with a person he's fighting randomly trying to go up his ass... people generally prefer consent before that happens.

Gamora's height isn't egregious to me, I've never imagined her as being particularly tiny. She's only barely taller than the new Legends Star Lord.
But yeah, the scale is why I don't buy a lot of Select figures.

SCORE! Went by target after an appointment today, since it's in the same shopping area I thought why not. Found all four of the remaining X-men wave I needed. Doing my little dance!

Awesome shot! Rocket with guns 3 times his size is always fun.

I was honestly hoping Gamora would fit in a bit better since I really dig the armored look. I think the issue is she seems disproportionate with overly long legs. I fully agree about her not being tiny. She is usually drawn pretty tall. In the Nova book she was basically the same height as Rich so if she lines up well with Nova Prime Rich I may use her after all. However, I am also not a fan of the head sculpt. Hopefully we will see a Legends version down the road that fits in a bit better.

On that same note, I would have really liked to have one of the three Quills we are getting be a modern comic version. That look is definitely my favorite of his t-shirt and trench coat looks.

Finally got my Banshee wings in (that i took from this figure and gave to Siryn then decided Banshee was servicable with a quick repiant so had to order another one for his wings... smh...) Waiting on my order for Sunfire and then a Classic (Vintage?) era team is about built. Can't decide on getting another blue/yellow Toybiz wolverine or waiting until SDCC to see is a Hasbro repaint is on the way... (maybe a All-New All-Different X-Men boxset???)

One interpretation of Star Lord I really liked incorporated elements from his original costume, but added the coat and really had a nice balance between something classic and a more modern look.
Plus, the helmet is really cool. Its shape, along with the visor, are very reminiscent of the 1970's Star Lord without looking terribly dated. Whoever designed it is a genius.

Looks great, it's very clear exactly which character is so desperately needed to fill out that time frame. I know Hasbro doesn't officially browse these boards but if they are listening, having a Jim Lee White Outfit and a First Appearance (well, costumed First Appearance, not nude African Princess) Storm are equally important. Personally I think they will go wtih the Jim Lee Storm first because they've indicated a desire to fill out the Jim Lee Era roster looks (Colossus notwithstanding) but I know if we get a new Storm it will be a while before we get a second one. Unless in a two pack. I would like for us all to get what we want and I think those are probably the two most wanted Storm versions.

Id almost like storm to be silver so she doesn't yellow like the white plastic does.

For a 15yr old figure, her whites hold up very well- probably because they built her on a translucent or light blue buck snd then painted it white... red blotches on her cape is the most common defect of time... someone mentioned that her small noggin was an issue- on the white costume here I've swapped her head out with Marvel Now Storm then took off the mohawk and added the toybiz wind-blown hair

Im making a set myself, though i just have forge wolvie morph and am waiting to either find the annhilius banshee or just go the buy some yellow fabric and use a fabric marker to make the banshee cape then likely will sell em.
