Angry Nomad does really cool ML shrinks. I've had a few bits from him and he is in production of making a few personal requests for me.

Pilkster 08-03-2016 09:23 AM

Can anyone recommend a good female gunbelt and shoulder harness for a misty knight figure.i want it to look like the ML version

I'm a collector of the 3.75 movie scale figures, and it's a shame that this movie line is been ignorated by marvel-hasbro and especially DC-Mattel.
I think we should made a formal pettition to hasbro and mattel to come back with a decent movie line in this scale and a decent distribution for the countries.
They are giving to us crappy 2.5" toys of MCU and crappy 5" toys of DC movie universe.
In my country (Brazil) Don't even have the terrible 2.5" civil war toys.
Sorry my english.

Welcome to the Ark and no worries about your English. The figures speak for themselves :) Agree with you there but it looks like they're starting to do a bit more with the movie line now with the latest Civil War installment albeit they are releasing them a bit late though.

Sorry, dude. Hasbro has been treating the 3.75" Marvel fans fairly. They've been doing a lot better if you've been keeping up with the news.

In regards to the lack of good MCU figures, we recently got the fully articulated Civil Captain America with a bike, the Agent 13 vs Black Panther 2 pack, and the Falcon pack that comes with Redwing, removable wings, and an unmasked head to swap. All of these figures have good articulation and have been updated to their current MCU costumes.

And it looks like they're done with the 2.5" line.

I know people in the Youtube comments have been trashtalking Hasbro for treating the line unfairly but those days are mostly gone but for whatever reason people in the comments continue to do so. It makes it look like Hasbro is still mistreating the line when in actuality they aren't. Just trying to clear that misconception since it's still spreading like wildfire in every Marvel 3.75" review on Youtube and I'm assuming that that's where you got the idea for the petition.

They really shouldn't have wasted resources and time on the 2.5 line and just incorporate it into the 3.75 if anything. Sort of same with those big titan figures, put those towards the 6 inch line. Too many of those and it'll scare off the brick n mortar stores, heck I don't even think the online stores carry them do they?

Great pics and welcome.

And big hello to Brazil.

That was quick. I'm gonna stick with the official versions since I want to get good paint apps for these guys since they're most likely going to be my permanent comic Guardians.

ukmu 08-03-2016 09:49 AM

When I've ordered from them, the apps looked better than the carded store versions. I'm a HUGE fan of them.

Really? Aren't those factory rejects?

Very curious to see that RR next to some 3.75", my hunch though, is he will be too tall. Maybe that head, tail and other bits on a small Hobbit figure or something? Time will tell... LOVE the baby Groot, bit of paint and (as they say here) 'jobs a good'un.

I used parts from the 2.5" line rocket raccoon and the body from a transformers human alliance figure. Came out tiny and great!

I should send him the head from my Sherlock 5" figure to shrink for Doctor strange. Unless I actually believe we'll get him a la ant man? 😶

Same I'll be sticking with the 3 pack since there's a Drax in it while these don't have him. Unless they plan on releasing him as a single as I do like the newer blue on these costumes.

No...... they are not. They are first quality extra production run pieces. Same as the carded stuff, and some say better because they pick and choose and get first dibs. I don't know about that, but they are ALWAYS 100% FLAWLESS.

Drax isn't a problem with posing with these Guardians since the figure doesn't match a certain color variant of either of the two pairs of Guardians teams.

I'm being optimistic about a 3.75" MCU Strange. NYCC is in early October which is a month before the movie. Hopefully they'll release strange like they have Ant-Man, Captain America, and Falcon like you mentioned.

That is just not true, I have had figures arrive with 2 left hands or awful paint on more than one occasion

Sithlord1963 08-03-2016 03:03 PM

If I get some free time over the weekend I'll try and dig out my MCU GOTG Customs and take some pics (posted them on Rebelscum waayy back so joint forum members might remember them). My Drax used a reworked Batistuta head and sculpted tattoos, and the 1.5 - 2" SA Rocket that I did almost put me off Customising for life.

Typo. Strange is in November, NYCC is in October.

Found the 2-packs at tjmaxx. cloak and dagger was in a target discounted to under 3 each after I talked to the manager since the box was heavily water damaged and super dust ridden. I opened them and tossed the packaging in store I didn't even want it in my car it was that bad.
