This is why I wish Legends did some sort of direct to consumer deluxe line or subscription for large characters that need a bunch of unique tooling. Or hell, rent it out to NECA and let them do a "creatures of marvel" line and let em at Man-Thing, Shuma Gorath, Wendigo etc etc. Best bet for a new man thing is prolly Select |
My Target up the road actually had the new X-Men line. No Cyclops in sight though. I did see a Colossus though. I already have the Select Colossus, but the bearded option looks pretty cool. They had much of the entire line. I'm going to wait and see how the pricing shakes out online first before I buy, unless I get lucky and spot Mr. Summers.

@Tim
Thanks for the big-up, man. Nowhere near the best, but it makes me happy that you enjoy the pics! We all (to varying degrees) dig comics, toys, and pigskin!;) @Red Thanks, Red. I look forward to seeing what you do with Polaris when you nab her, your pics really flatter these female sculpts. In many ways, you've encouraged me to put more thought into my 'femme-extraordinaire' presentation. I hope you track the fig down soon! @Kirathis Thanks, my man. Regarding Starlord, I like Symbi's idea a great deal. Largely because it requires minimal effort on my part, but also because of his new space-tee. He'll serve perfectly as a cosmic-punk in the background. I was fine with the previous MCU Starlord. Not being a big MCU fig-fan, I didn't mind that the old Pratt head was lacking. It actually worked out better for my swapping it over to suited bodies; its "toolish" bearing, makes for a good 'goon/bystander/crony' to get punched out by a hero/villain. While I can understand some of the frustration with Hasbro decision to reuse some Drax parts, I like the bulkier legs...I think, I haven't purchased it yet and my opinion may change after getting it in hand. |

He also could possibly use the space venom body, just with alot more detail. Fur leaves etc. |

Cate Blanchett is... that is to say, I... wow. How do I make the words that sound correctly good? Hnnng. I'm a man of leisure with a gentle disposition, but I would do really bad stuff if she appeared before me looking like that and asked it. God damn. I was gonna say other stuff, but I've completely forgotten all of it. Have some photos. https://c1.staticflickr.com/4/3693/3...a8fca4cd_o.jpg "Race you there, old man!" https://c1.staticflickr.com/4/3741/3...da4a6f63_o.jpg |

Does anyone know if the original Nova figure has the "Gummy" issue?

I wonder if Nova will ever appear in any of the movies. He seems like a character who could have his own movie.

Nova was originally supposed to appear as part of the team in GOTG, but he was written out of the script.

I really liked the original rumored casting of Janelle Monae much better and was pulling for her. Monae has softer facial features and an absolutely stunning figure, which is something I have associated with Domino for a long time. She also tends to wear coordinated outfits featuring black and white A LOT, which made the role seem even more like a natural fit for her. Zazie Beetz simply just doesn't hold a candle to her in those departments. I also felt Sofia Boutella, who played Gazelle in "Kingsman" would made an EXCELLENT Domino due to her athleticism and performance in that film, plus she was drop dead gorgeous. She may be fine actress, but the final casting of Beetz (just like Felicity Jones as Felicia Hardy in ASM2) does nothing for me simply because the character already feels off thanks to the actress simply not looking the part. |
