Welcome to ToyArk, dude.

JL Cyke was the groundbreaking figure that changed the game. I recall going nuts for that fig when the wave dropped. He gets overlooked now but that fig is outstanding.

ToyArk will surely help you catch up. I'm on my 2nd Marvel 3.75" collection - sold my 1st for wedding - and my collection today blows my old one out of the water ... all thanks to Arkers.

Thanks dude, and I feel welcome. I'll keep the Arkers in mind when I go on hunts. I usually don't go too crazy looking for MUs since Hasbro is kind enough to do re-releases of older figs in some form or another unlike a certain wrestling, and DC figure making companies... "cough, cough"... but I am not here to Bash.

I do have many gaps in my MU collection, but that is what makes it more fun. Now I can hunt for just about anything in the MU line, since I was always hunting for something else for the last few months. Don't get me wrong it isn't like I don't bother with one line, while collecting another, but there are gaps in deed.

I know you were joking, I just wanted to give a little background into my collecting habbits. I collect a lot of different things... MU's, ML's, DCUC, WWE Elite/Legends, Transformers, MOTUC, NECA, Power Rangers(in a rare blue moon), about any 3 3/4" figure and the occasional Japanese imports like SH Figuarts DBZ and Sentai figs. I am a f*cking mess.

Just when I contemplate selling off my ML's they went ahead and made those 6" Avengers. Then I think of seeling off my MU's but I see there are still a lot more great figs coming out, and I want to fill in the gaps with figs I don't have in ML form. Plus 3 3/4" WWE figs coming out next year, and I want nothing more than to see Hulk kick the crap out of John Cena although Mattel's 3 3/4" figs leave alot to be desired.

I have... how do you say... champagne tastes on a beer budget. So I just what I can whenever I can.

Sorry to stray from topic.

Actually it was the sdcc ww2 cap and sdcc movie spiderman that started the new articulated molds

I have the SDCC Spidey (like my sig didn't give that away). Which figure started using the new foot rockers, or sandals as I like to call them? They are an awesome design.

Also, which Iron Man is the modular one? What series is it from?

Sorry, like the gaps in my MU collection, there is one big giant gap in my comicbook knowledge, so I have a hard time keeping up with the upgrades that characters get, or even new characteres that appear. I usually use wiki to stay up to date.

Good call. WW2 Cap definitely has all the bells and whistles, but no rocker ankles on that SDCC Spidey knocks him out of the conversation for me.

I'm not good with remembering waves and fig numbers, but it's the same figure that's available now at TRU with the Avengers light up base.. not the clear one. The TRU version uses a more yellow mustard shade than gold, but same figure.

SDCC Spidey doesn't have the rockers, however, it does have a swivel and a hinge in the ankels. Rockers would have been nice since he already has a shin swivel, even though he is technically more articulated than the new Ultra Possable Spider-Man figure. The rockers on the new Spidey just send it over the top.

Are you referring to me. If so, I know... it sucks. I live in Pigf*ck PA and there aren't many comicbook stores around. I still manage to get information on whats new for the most part. What I like about the MU figs is that MU was a decent way to Reboot the Marvel figure line, so while there are many great new characters being released, I can still get some oldies but goodies.

Thanks for the pic. I know very little about the story line from this armor other than the fact that is bleeds out of Tony or some crap like that. I might have to pick this figure up now since it does have awesome articulation, and the foot rockers. Damn.

Quasimodo 06-07-2012 01:42 PM

Anyone have a bow from MU hawkeye that theyd be willing to sell?
