RETAIL scarcity. Meaning low orders from retailers on this wave. tht does not mean that Hasbro's warehouse is not full of them. Just retail never ordered them.

Expect to see this on the Abomination wave, the Sandman wave, the Warlock wave (probably) and the Space Venom wave as well.

Plus high demand on Black Panther, so what little the stores did get went away fast.

Funny enough even though I've never seen any of the Abomination BAF wave in stores (except at a lcs) they're all cheap on Amazon except for Scarlet Witch.

Absolutely that too. BP was definitely the "hot" figure in that wave and scalpers took some advantage of that, as it did hit retail slightly. The Abomination wave being so cheap which is funny makes sense in that reasoning, it didn't/hasn't even hit retail for the scalpers to pick up, and now it's too cheap online for them to bother. I feel no pity for them, only wish the people who are hesitant about ordering online could find the figures too.

I should add, I don't think we'll see a problem with the Titus wave but we will see a similar issue with the Mantis wave. Those darn abbreviation codes being the same for similar waves screws everything up.

I may be remembering wrong, but if I do recall correctly, I think my black panther was like $15-$16. Though I may be wrong. I DO know for sure the first Civil War wave was on the cheap, that's why went ahead and bought them all.

They did very briefly have him on sale, yes. I scooped up one for a nephew.

When they first hit they were the same price as the onslaught wave which was reduced to sell right when these started showing up at Walmart, at first they were all $15.86 or so.

But after a couple weeks the price was adjusted and they were $19.99 for a while.

Then when the movie was released on Bluray the walmart exclusives which were 4 packed with 2 falcons and 2 winter soldier showed up along with a restock of the civil war wave. At that point everyone in the wave was somewhat easy to find.

I eventually posted some links on here that were for Scarlet witch for $18 and BP for $12.

They both sold out shortly after that back in November.

Damn, I'm hoping to get one new so I can get the BAF piece.

Speaking of, I rarely saw the entire wave in stores but strangely a TON of Eels peg warming near me.

I'm thinking not, SW is probably the hot figure in that wave. As far as seeing in store, I only just saw my first sign of it last month....a lone Captain Britain. o_O

It's no biggie, I'm buying Black Panther for himself too, so I might as well just get it all as one.

I never saw Abomination wave at retail other than a Captain Britain at Walmart with the BAF piece missing. I got my Witch from Amazon for retail, but I know some got her from Walmarts site for like $12.

i don't think I saw much of that last cap wave but if you told me stores didn't order a lot, that would make sense. Captain Britain aside, theres nothing good in that wave.

SW Has to have one of the worst likenesses I've seen since the movie cap figures.

It better be firiggin good at this point, after the amount of damn Iron Man figures they pump out, they should have the best ones at this point.

Man, seeing the two most recent Wolverine bodies next to eachother in one of those pics, the second most recent one was waaaay too tall. I'm glad they made the new one appropriately short. I just hope they get to doing all the variants they'd previously done on this new body.

I think I'm the 1% that prefers a tall Wolverine.
