To each his own I guess. I find him to be lame as a short guy, especially with all the muscle, just makes him look kind of silly.

I really like what Jackman did with the character (except for Logan), I just wish he had worn the suit.

Speaking of height.....does anyone know the height of the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Series 12 Wolverine figure?

If by Series 12 you mean the Apocalypse wave Astonishing Wolverine...he's short...the shortest Wolverine in the Legends line to date, other than the Face Off version, which might be a tad shorter...

Here he is in both variants, along with the Juggernaut wave Wolverine, and the series 3 Wolverine, which is still a great figure despite his limitations in articulation and larger size.

The unmasked Astonishing Wolverine is probably my favorite version of Wolverine to be released in Legends form thus far, simply due to the excellent face sculpt and sculpted details on the uniform. You can actually see the stitching in his uniform, which put him right up there with McFarlane Toys in terms of sculpt back in the days, only this guy was super poseable and not a 3poa statue...

I'm super jealous of that X-Force set.

On the bright side, I have an Age of Apocalypse Sunfire heading to my collection this week!

I was going to pick one of those up at the show over the weekend but he had the tiniest of paint flaws near the mouth area..and as bad as i wanted it...that would have annoyed me to no end..

@DTL

Nathan's tub could use a couple more cervezas ;)...that is, if you don't already have a shitload and are looking for more:

dollhouse 1:12 beer bottles | eBay

I saw a corona six pack a couple of weeks ago complete with cardboard box, but I can't find it any longer...

haha...yeah man...thanks for looking out...

#1. the guy who sent me that ice "bucket" for the drinks...i had to hit him up and be like...WHERES THE DAMN ICE. In his "selling" pic.. the ice came to the top..mine barely coats the bottom. He apologized and.. "more ice is on the way" :)

#2. Yeah i been meaning to order certain stuff for a good while now..just never did. Like a week ago I finally order some random beers/mugs, etc (including that ice tub/bucket for the drinks). But i think they're all coming over on a slow boat from China...so..they get here when they get here..

i though this would be sweet for a server..
too bad the price isn't..

As do all of the fellas in the bar after that night.... ;) ;)

TheBlueMarvel 03-15-2017 06:46 AM

@DTL

...it seems like every damn boat from China is slow. I recently got one of those Tamashii Wind Effects, but I didn't buy it recently. I waited more than a month, similar to everything else I've purchased that has shipped from China or Hong Kong. I'm not complaining or singling out one or two nations; items I buy from Japan, or the UK, take just as long to arrive. Between customs and the slow nature of travel by sea, things are just going to take a while in transit...but you know the game: hurry up and wait.

That dollhouse stuff is EXPENSIVE. I've always watched the items (even going as far as to save some eBay searches), dreaming of the day of doing similar stuff to what you are doing in your shots, but the prices have functioned as a prohibitive factor. Long ago, I made a choice between chasing down a bunch of props and buying effects. The effects won the battle, but when I see excellently outfitted/accessorized ("You got to accessorize!" HA!) photos like yours, I go right back to wanting that stuff.

About that shared listing...I've never seen Bud served up on a platter like that! ;)

...and members of the 'lonely hearts club' who are all too familiar with AV stars and media (heh.."media"...talk about a euphemism)! ;)

edit...oh wait, does that put me in the same category since I also know what those figs are? :o:p:cool:

THAT made me lol for real...

..and yeah...when ordering things like this..it best to order..and forget about it..haha..then it'll be a pleasant surprise when it actually ever arrives.

but..accessories...props....effect....they're alllll supporting cast...so it all falls under the same category to me. Unfortunately my mind is now always thinking about situations and settings for figs..instead of just owning them. READS: mo' money mo money....smh..I wholeheartedly blame the Ark...ha..(displacing blame is an acquired skill)

@Nite

Thank you for deepening my shame..;)

Weapon X 03-15-2017 11:39 AM

.....moving on lol.

Anyone spotted any Dazzlers lately?

Panther 03-15-2017 11:50 AM

I searched 5 Targets today, and all I found was Poloaris. That's okay, 1 down...6 to go.

I can't believe after all the fan desire to get her (myself leading the pack I think ha ha, but I know she was highly requested) that she's going to be the peg warmer. Ah well, at least those who want her are going to be able to find her.

Edit: My Grootclusive was just delivered! He's a bit sad all my other legends are not at the house now, he wanted to introduce them to his twigglings.
