There Is A Chance We Could Get Glorious Rainbow Batman Figures

While I'd love those, I'd fangirl over a Batgirl figure. To my knowledge, the only 3.75 figure of Barbara is that awful microman.

tlasjr 01-21-2015 08:41 PM

Is Bill Beichick a Rainbow Batman fan?

joefan76 01-21-2015 09:01 PM

I you haven't voted get to it 3.75 has a small lead at the moment.

Poison Shadow 01-21-2015 09:23 PM

That Rainbow Batman collection was going to be a box set, right? I guarantee you at least 80% of the people voting for it wouldn't even spend money on the whole set.

If there's even the slightest chance the winner of the poll will see a release of some sort, I'll vote for the 3.75" assortment as many times as possible.

thewriteguy 01-21-2015 11:51 PM

I doubt DC is going to produce whichever is the winner based solely on this internet vote. (They could still produce the other items that don't come out on top.) They're going to need to use other means of test marketing to further gauge interest in these products.

I think the rainbow Batman figures have been getting mostly troll votes.

slim19722 01-22-2015 12:34 AM

Ebay seller viperskingdom already has those rainbow Batmen. People voting for them can get them now. Although it's only the set of 5, not 6. The yellow one appears to be MIA.

"HERE HERE!!!" I'm voting again!

Common gentlemen! Mattel ain't making Etrigan or Captain cold! Vote even if it just a pipe dream!

Totally agree with ur first statement, no one is buying that weak ass rainbow set if it goes retail.

Ha ha I'm amazed that someone on there is calling for a 6" granny goodness and asking that they not do 3.75" stuff. Guaranteed a 6" Granny Goodness would peg warm like crazy if it were mass produced, what a lame character (sorry to any granny goodness fans but I would easily pass on that figure).

Agreed. It must have hit certain websites catering to audiences with an affinity for all things in rainbow colors. The voters are probably not even Batman fans.

I can't help but wonder if there is a large LGBT community wanting the rainbow Batmen... could be a pride thing. I know Grant Morrison likes his Batman gay.

It wouldn't be mass produced, and it wouldn't peg warm because there'd be no pegs to warm. This isn't Mattel, it's DC Collectibles. Stores order as much or as little of a product as they want. When I worked in my LCS we would order single DCC figures of niche characters for customers all the time.

I don't think it's that so much as that the Rainbow Batman set is a fun, whimsical, Silver Age artifact. I'm an avid 1:18 scale collector and customizer. I'm also a Batman collector. I voted for the Rainbow Batman set because it's a fun story and they'd pop on my shelves. I will never vote for more 3.75" DCC figures because the Green Lantern and Injustice figures were all awful. The sculpts were poor, the paint worse, and the quality control even more so. The fact that these are New52 just adds more negative to them. I'd much rather have the Rainbow Batman set so I voted for it and will continue to vote for it.

I've seen plenty of DCC stuff shelf/peg warm at my LCS. I've picked some of it up on clearance. I picked up the Injustice Black Adam/Aquaman 2 pack on clearance for $12 at my LCS. Who knows maybe Granny Goodness would be a hot item, I just know I would pass on it.

As for the Rainbow Batman, I'm sure it has it's fans. I know my son would want them but I would pass. I actually like the 3.75" Injustice figures. I have been lucky in the quality department so far, no real breakage or quality issues. I really like the Joker/Batman 2 pack, it's been a breath of fresh air with the 5 POA 1/18 stuff at retail. To each their own. If you wanna vote for the Rainbow Batmen far be it from me to judge. I just want some well sculpted, well painted, well articulated 3.75" DC (or Marvel) action figures.

I do too, unfortunately I personally don't see an option for any here.

Antony916 01-23-2015 12:00 PM

I'm voting everyday for the new 52 3 3/4 figures with the dream it will actually matter, sad and pathetic I know. But A guy can dream.....

ArsGratiaArtis 01-23-2015 04:48 PM

Got the 2packs in the mail today. They're ok for what they are. If you like the Multiverse line you'll like them.

Can I ask who you ordered from? I ordered mine from EE and they said they ship in February...I just ask because I would have loved to have gotten them today like you. Thanks

ArsGratiaArtis 01-23-2015 05:42 PM

Amazon got them in stock a couple days ago. Had them shipped free with Prime and they only took a day to arrive

snake5289 01-23-2015 05:57 PM

Any word on when Nightwing and Croc will be released?
